I also tried to login using my application number which is yun ba yung E000xxx for express entry, ayaw din po.

Kaka-email ko lang sa CIC nagsubmit ako ng IRCC form for technical difficulty

till now po kasi review in progress pa din ang status ng medicals namin sa CIC.
so that's why I want to know kung may any message or update sa ECAS.

Thanks po

Hi MARS100,
is it the first time you access your ECAS?

Registration to Settlement Online Pre Arrival (SOPA) Manitoba
https://secure.settlementonlineprearrival.ca/login/index.php

This will really help those who will Landing Soon! ^__^
Because of this I really feel relieved & calm & very excited to Land in Canada & to hear the precious words: "Welcome to Canada, Your'e now an Immigrant!"

My Queries:

Thank you again. I thought it was included in my Resume. About my self, what I can contribute & why do they hire me.
So what format will I use to make it easier for them to find that in my Resume?

By the way change topic. I have important matters to ask.
About Settlement or Proof of Funds when Landing.

My situation & concern is:
During my MPNP Online Application I included in my submission my Bank Certificate worth more than CAD$10,000 (P400,000php) that was July 31, 2014.
During my CIC Application they don't ask for Updated Bank Certificate. Now the amount remaining in my bank account is CAD$2,800+ (100,000php) Because I used the money for my Application & some payments here in Philippines.
But I will live with my relatives in Winnipeg, Manitoba (My grandpa, grandma, aunt & uncle were Canadian Citizens) so they will help me to settle there. Lend me money & pay them after I got jobs there.
My concern is my Landing, what if I only bring more or less CAD$1,000 then the immigration officer will ask me how much I bring? If I tell the truth is it possible to be the reason of deny of entry? & If I showed my Bank Certificate during my MPNP Application which is CAD$10,000 (P400,000php) but not updated because year 2014 issued do you think they will ask for an updated one? Or if I have Updated Bank Certificate but less than the required settlement funds which is CAD$2,800+ (100,000php) also is it possible to be the reason of deny of entry? Or I can explain that I will live with my Grandma & Grandpa who were Canadian Citizens & my sponsor is my Aunt who will help me to settle.

Please help me I'm really confuse & anxious of what to prepare for my Landing.

Best Regards!

Yes, you have soft skills indicated in your resume and you mixed it with your hard skills. At most, 3 soft skills is the best in your resume. You will learn how to prepare and target your resume in Canadian format when you take the course related to Resume/interviewing/etc..

Your immigration category is PV2 which means provincial nominee and your supporter are your close relative. So, don't worry too much with how much would be your 'baon' or settlement fund.

The immigration officer at your port of entry will only ask and verify your name, are you married/divorsed/separated/widowed/ do you have kids and who are travelling with you. Immigration officer may ask how much money you have as your settlement if you have a declaration card - if you are bringing $10k but they will not ask you to bring out and show to them (this question is not rarely asked even if you have $10k decalred amount, because your category is PV2). You can see your immigration category in your COPR.

In your final interview at your port of entry, you will show your passport and COPR and declaration card (if you have $10K above) to the immigration officer.

Immigration officers are friendly and interview is very simple. Just answer the officer's question directly and smile.

Settlement fund is not a ground for refusal.

I know how you feel and most of my clients ask about "is it scary when I face the immigration officer at the port of entry" , I say no, they are friendly, although at first they will not smile but after everything is set the Immigration officer will congratulate and welcome you to Canada with a smile :)

it's just important that you need to have at least 4 hours or more layover to your connecting flight from your port of entry to Manitoba.

Don't worry much with your landing.

Talk soon next week.

Take care.

Hi boggss!

Just saw your timeline... though it almost 3 yrs now but at least you are near the finish line! You're now in the final stage of the whole process... Congrats!

So I'd like to say that based on the timelines....

1.0 year to 1.5 yrs -- the lucky ones
1.6 years to 2 yrs -- the fortunate ones
2.1 years to 2.5 yrs -- the happy ones
2.6 years to 3 yrs -- the providential ones

Indeed, patience is virtue!

Good luck & GOD bless!

Once she is cleared to travel, she can land and deliver there so your baby will be a Canadian citizen before you guys. ;)

I'm not as familiar with Manitoba's health coverage, so you might want to look into that as well.

If you choose to have her give birth in the Philippines (before or after landing), then you will have to sponsor your child later.

Hi Ms. bellaluna,

We plan to have the baby in Canada. Ang estimate nga po kasi naming is wala pang 1mon sya kay misis. And we're planning to land there as soon as we received the passport. As early as July16. May mga kelangan pa po kayang travel documents para dun? Salamat po ng marami.
