Hi guys. I'm obviously a newbie here and since I can't figure out how to post my timeline the way you guys did it, here it is.

Category: PNP/ AINP
Application filed: November 26, 2013 AINP/ October 14, 2014 CIC
Nomination: September 23, 2014
AOR: March 6, 2015
Med's Request: May 14, 2015
RPRF Request: May 14, 2015
Interview: Waived
English Exam: CELPIP/ Submitted with application
Med's Done: May 30, 2015
Med's received: June 11, 2015
Passport Request: July 27, 2015
Passports Sent: August 5, 2015
Passports received by CEM: August 10, 2015/ via Fedex tracking info
ECAS: In process

I am wondering how much time it would take before they send back the passports with visa as I have booked a flight for November. I am pretty nervous, but seeing your timelines gave me a relief. I am also wondering which courier does CEM use to send the passports back. I am currently in Canada and landed since January 2013. Your answers would help me a lot! Thanks, everyone! :)

Yes, Chayie, like everyone else - yours and the others will come soon, too.
It's all so true... all this is just a waiting game.
God bless!

Lapit na yan. At this stage talaga mas mahirap maghintay pag alam mo nalalapit ka na - at this point also na mas kailangan ng ibayong pasensya, para naman hindi ka halos mabaliw sa pag-iisip ng kung ano-ano pa.

(sabi nga ni Lola Nidora - .... sa tamang panahon) :):):)

hi sir ragluf,

i have one more query.. kasi my husband have hyperthyroidism when we had our med exam the PP required him to undergo neck ultrasound, when we submitted the result they further required us to submit med. cert. from his doctor with history and prognosis of his medical condition, but when we ask
his doctor to issue us med. cert. he refused because the last consultation was on 2004 and he dont have a basis anymore for his medical history. What are our chances that we will have a visa? I am so worried. Thanks.

God Bless Us all,
chayie
Malayo ang itinatanong mo dun sa description mo ng problema. Ang problem mo is wala kang maipakita na medical history for the hyperthyroidism which is what is required ng PP. Can you ask your doctor for a checkup on the hyperthyroidism na lang - considering wala maibigay na medical history, then the current condition is what you can provide? Yung doctor ba na ito is the same doctor na nag-treat ng hyperthyroidism nung 2004 pero hindi ninyo family physician?

Kung hindi family physician, and consulting doctor lang, then explain it that way - wala na makukuha na records since it was done more than 10 years ago. Then focus on explaining the recent checks show no issues on that condition? Yun na lang - to comply dun sa hinihingi. If hindi tanggapin, then maaring mag-prescribe ng treatment ang PP to rule out that the condition is not a factor for medical surveillance or medical inadmissibility.

At this point malayo i-connect ang chances mo of a visa with the fact na walang maibigay literally ng hinihingi na medical history and prognosis. All results of the medical tests and the examinations will be used to make a medical assessment, and walang nakakaalam kung paano ang interpretation ng findings kung walang maibigay na hinihingi.

Never think na literally kailangan ang isang hinihingi kung pigain nyo man ang bato wala kayong makukuha. So create a letter of explanation, and provide alternative sources of information. Gusto ma-eliminate ng PP na ang condition is a symptom of something else, so kung hindi sapat ang info na makukuha nya sa pasenyete, well me actions naman na pwede na gawin (humingi ng added tests or mag prescribe ng treatment) to rule any suspicions out.

thanks sir ragluf for the reply.. all i am worrying is, if hyperthyroidism is a ground for inadmissibility. my husband went back to st. lukes yesterday and explain everything and they said he can consult with any endocrinologist that can provide all the details they are asking. thank God now i am a little bit relief.. hope our application will be approved, I am praying hard..

God Bless Everyone,
chayie
