Yun bang medical nyo may furtherance? Talaga bang if we will wait for the last treatment date of my daughter on January then X-ray again dun pa Lang I process papers namin? Meaning 5 months plus another months of waiting ? So possible aabot kame ng 1 year na naman waiting period?

Yes po.. May bayad din sticker ng passport nya.

Pero ang renewed passport namin September 18th pa marelease and ang current passport namin sa July 2015 magexpire.Ano po ang magandang gagawin kasi balak namin March 2015 pumunta ng Canada.We are given 30 days from Aug 26th to send our passports can we ask for time extension para matanggap muna namin ung renewed passport namin?

1. Request for extension and send proof of the application for the new passports. Add you will send the passports as soon as it is received.
2. Sept 18 release gives you at least a week and a half enough to meet the 30days to submit the passports (counting from 26 Aug). You can opt to wait, depending where you are and where the PPs will be sent from.

1. Visa validity = Medical received + 1 year (typical). If PP expiry date is less than 1 year from medicals, then visa validity = PP expiry
2. ??? Di ba isinasama ang current PPs mo sa renewal/application for new passports? So wala ka magagamit ngayon na pwedeng i-submit sa VO. Meaning hawak mo ngayon ang luma mong PPs? Papaano nangyari yun na nakapag-apply ka ng new passports ng hindi mo ibinigay as part ng application ang lumang PPs?

Saan ba VO mo, at saan ka nag-apply ng renewal ng PPs?

Usually kasi hindi nila ginagawang void/cancelled ung passports pag wala pa yung renewed passports kaya nasa amin pa ngayon.
Dito kami SG ngayon CEM ung VO namin.If ever na gamitin namin existing passports namin ano pong gagawin namin pag narelease na ung renewed passports namin kelangan ba iupdate ulit ung CIC kahit na may visa sticker na ung old passports namin?

Usually kasi hindi nila ginagawang void/cancelled ung passports pag wala pa yung renewed passports kaya nasa amin pa ngayon.
Dito kami SG ngayon CEM ung VO namin.If ever na gamitin namin existing passports namin ano pong gagawin namin pag narelease na ung renewed passports namin kelangan ba iupdate ulit ung CIC kahit na may visa sticker na ung old passports namin?

Kaya pala - nasa SG ka. Overseas folk hindi kasama ang old passports sa renewal, kaya hawak mo pa ang current/old PPs.

The CoPR and the visa issued will include the PP numbers. So whatever PPs you submit will be followed and the details encoded in both the CoPR and the visa (the PP is the primary identity document).

You can still use the visa issued even on a expired PP (old PP) as the validity of the visa is not tied to the validity of the PP. For the visa, using your current passport will be fine.

However, the CoPR maybe a different thing as it is a status document. Have not come across those who have landed and presented a CoPR with the PPs number different from the current valid PP, so I am not sure how this goes in the eyes of the CBSA officer when this is being examined. It may be (emphasis on "may be") OK to present the old passport to match the PP details encoded in the CoPR during landing but having not experienced this or come across reports of this in the various forums, I cannot be certain.

As always, my risk-averse advice will be
- wait for the new PPs and then send it to CEM asap
- if you think you can make the delivery, after getting the PPs, send it asap. It does not take too long for delivery via courier from SG to PH (unless - are you asked to submit to the SG VFS for transmittal to CEM?)
- if you can't make it or think you cannot make the submission date - send word to CEM asap, ask for an extension (+1 and 2 weeks at most); inform CEM when the PPs have been sent (pre-alert/pa-abang) and include courier proof package has been sent

So visa + CoPR will show current/valid PPs - no issue (if any) in mismatching of PP (primary identity document) numbers.

One reason why pinarenew ko na mga passports namin prior to submission of docs to CIC NS is to prevent issues such as this. Anyway, anjan na yan, follow the suggestion of sir ragluf and I think it shouldn't pose a problem..
