Typically one AOR (so-called the AOR-CIO) is sent from CIO (Centralized Intake Office) - Sydney, NS after your application is deemed complete and willl be forwarded to a VO for further processing. 2nd AOR (so-called AOR-VO) will be sent by the VO that has been assigned and will process your application (not specifically what VO you chose). Your application file is now with the VO and any further instructions, submissions and correspondence will be from that VO to you.

Previously, walang CIO, so years back isang AOR lang and it comes from the VO to which the application package was submitted to. Note the terms AOR-CIO and AOR-VO are not official terms and were presumably coined by earlier applicants to differentiate between the two.If you specified an email address, primary means of correspondence with you will be via email and - IME (Immigration Medical Examination) previously known as MR (Medical Request) are now sent via email.

If you have no email address specified (very rare nowadays) - forms and requests are sent via mail.

I see.. ganun po pla un, under normal circustances how long does it usualy takes for them to send the app pak to the assigned visa office? I heard usually daw mgkasabay ung aor at mr? Thank you po sa reponse sir^^ i apreciate it..

Tanong po for those in Manitoba already, usually how much does it cost to rent a house? How about buying a car? Yung friend ko just finished his medicals and wants to know so he can plan ahead.

Thanks....

Hi Sir Ragluf,
Tungkol po sa above topic, kung mauuna kaming mag asawa sa Canada & then babalikan mga kids before the visa expires, is it necessary na ung principal applicant ang babalik to get my kids or pupuede ung asawa ko nalang bumalik to get them?
Thank u & God bless,

No not necessary for the PA - as soon as you landed, either of you can go back and then accompany the kids. Pwede din naman sila (kids) travel alone, pero me mga ibang requirements para dun sa PH (i.e. DSWD etc.)

However, please note:
1. When you land - paso na ang PR visa nyo (nagamit na ang single entry eh), so hangga't wala pa kayong PR card, hindi kayo pwede lumabas lang ng Canada then enter back. Either
- hintayin nyo ang PR card nyo muna then sunduin ang kids or
- apply for a PRTD (Travel Document) habang wala pa ang PR cards. Itong PRTD is sort of a entry document (parang "visa" for PRs :) ) na pwede nyo magamit as a re-entry doc, so you can go to the PH, sunduin ang kids, then balik sa Canada - kung wala ka pang PR card.

Pag nakuha nyo na ang PR cards nyo - no need for visa's anymore up to validity/expiry ng PRC.

Iba ang PR visa at ang CoPR at the time of landing - visa allows you to travel/enter Canada (entry document), CoPR (status document) shows your eligible status that will be enabled after landing. Right now - hangga't di pa kayo nag "land", hindi pa kayo PR officially.

2. Pwede nyo lang samahan mag-land ang mga dependents/kids, pero they will do the landing (i.e. appear in front of the CBSA officer) on their own.

Make sure me copy sila ng CoPR ng PA, and kapag sinamahan nyo sila, have your IDs (Canada issued) available to present to the CBSA officer. Yung copy ng CoPR ng PA will show kasama sa listahan ng dependents ang mga kids, and the IDs will show proof of your residence in Canada.

Likely yung dependents na hindi naka-"land" will have to apply on their own now as principal applicants.

Kaya importante maka-"land" lahat before expiry ng PR visa.

Officially - heto ang steps - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/next_steps.asp

As for the timelines for the file transfer - no idea and I would not hazard a guess kasi iba-iba - hanapin mo na lang ang mga tracking sheets within the threads dito sa forum and get a estimate from those.

All dependent on paano ang processing ng application.

@ragluf: iba un case ng brother ko with his whole family. kakadating lang nila last sunday dito sa Canada but non nakita ko sa COPR nila may Note about sa medical, they will undergo again medical here. Same kami ng application SINP then PR. Natagalan lang sila kasi medical furtherance. Don't know if meron na naka encounter ng ganito before.

Regarding the brother-in-law mo - it depends kung ano ang medical assessment code na nakalagay sa CoPR (under Medical Details - Surveillance Code) - see here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/surveillance/surveillance.asp
Since nabanggit mo kinailangan pa nila ng medical furtherance and me medical exam sila ulit - likely this applies:
=====
Conditions imposed on the visa

Applicants with a condition of public health importance may be determined to require medical surveillance after their entry into Canada. Officers will not issue a visa to anyone who is deemed to be a danger to public health or safety. If such a case should arise and if compelling circumstances warrant admission, advice should be sought from the medical officer responsible for the area. Special travel and public health protection procedures, including upon arrival, may be necessary.

=====
Find here yung medical assessment codes http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/assess/coding.asp

(btw if di pwede ang mga links posted - do a copy and paste to the browser - for some reason it works rather than clicking on the link)
