Hello All,

I received an email requesting for medical and rprf. Just want to check if I can pay via credit card to pay the 490CAN or is it required to pay via bank draft?

Kindly refer to the link below...

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/visas/fees-frais.aspx?view=d

Payment Instructions - Philippines
Fees must be paid by bank draft, certified cheque, postal money order (PMO) or manager’s cheque. Cash payment is not accepted.
Print your name on the back of the bank draft or certified cheque.
Fees can only be paid in Canadian Dollar and Philippine Peso currencies although it is advisable to pay in Canadian Dollars to avoid currency fluctuation.
If you are paying in Canadian dollars, the bank draft or certified cheque should be addressed to the: Receiver General for Canada.
If you are paying in Philippine Pesos, the bank draft or certified cheque should be made payable to the: Embassy of Canada, Manila.
Cheques can be issued by any local or international banks or post offices. Bank cheques are valid for 6 months from the date they were issued, while PMOs are valid for only 3 months.
If bank drafts are issued from a bank in Canada in Canadian dollars, the "drawee" (also known as the clearance or correspondent bank) must be left blank.

I received mine, Nov'13, that was almost 6mos from CIO-AOR. I think getting the MR request from ADVO takes 3-7 mos but, that is case to case basis.

thanks for the info brod

Hello forum mates!

Tanong ko lang po sana kung OK lang na manggaling sa US before magland sa Winnipeg?

Balak ko pong bumista sa kapatid ko for 3 wks sa US tapos direcho ng Winnipeg as POE.

Thanks in advance sa sasagot! :D
Ok lang naman - as tabs and pebbles said - as long as you have visas to enter the US. Present the ticket enroute to Winnipeg to show proof of temporary/visit stay in the US only if needed when you are asked about the nature of your visit to the US.

ExploreWinnipeg is the only one I know of who has a direct to Winnipeg itinerary - pero they may be just landing next month. You may want to PM him to ask about landing experiences. As for landing services in Winnipeg - I did call BIS, and I got a reply that there are IMM services for first-time immigrants at Winnipeg airport. If you are flying-in - IMM services are available to process first-time immigrants 8:00am to 12:00midnight, so the advice is to "land" between those time, otherwise no services are available after 12mn.

Just make sure you have your itinerary set to land into Winnipeg between those times when IMM services are available.

You may apply B-1/B-2 Visa in US.
Just prepare a valid reason or supporting documents galing sa kapatid mo para sa interview.
Ganyan din plano namin kaso nadeny un application namin ng visa, anyway try your luck.

Hi ohane,

Just send an email request for the list of schools that are tesda accredited. Just look for the email address in their website. Thanks

Kelotz I just applied and got a US visa last week. Sorry for your US visa experience. Bakit naman po kaya kayo na deny? :( Anyway, siguro mas madali na for you to visit the US anytime when you live in Canada.

Salamat po ulit sa inyo sa pagsagot! God bless!

https://www.winnipegsd.ca/ourschools/Pages/Find-a-School.aspx

Kami kasi sa Khalsa St. so ang napili ko ay sa NORTH DISTRICT... then there are schools that only offered GRADE Schools, meron namang complete... ENJOY :)

God bless.

Got my AOR! Feb 6, pa pala nasa spam mail ko! Thank's God.
