Tabs, you may have a different case but may i share experiences re NBI.

First for the online application: This year's process may be different but last november when i got my clearance, i registered online but slight difference that time was that i paid thru Globe (which is no longer applicable now). When i went to NBI Taft, I just asked the agent at the gate where to go for online applicants. I didn't have to line up and went straight inside. I had to wait for a while at the 4/F for the picture/fingerprinting. Then they just told me to come back after 3wks.

Second for expediting clearances: My cousin went to get a clearance but was also told to go back after 3wks. Since she already had to go back to the US within the same week, she went to a counter (2/F or 3/F) specifically for expedite requests. Showing her ticket, she just had to go around rooms in the office building to have her request approved. She got it on the same day.

Just sharing. Maybe you could try requesting to have it expedited as well.

That's the plan, I will bring the PPR email with me and see if they will let me have it done expedited.

just want to share my experience when we got our NBI clearance last 3 jan 14 sa taft ave (main), we got our NBI clearance the same day we applied because of "no hit". Pero ours is very good and at the same time bad experience, it took us around 11 hours para matapos (Tyaga kami kase kailangan). We started around 6:30 in the morning thinking na kunti lang pila but pag dating sa loob mahaba na (iba pila ng female sa male). sabi nila mga 4am may pumila na at around 6am nagbukas na sila... we got through stages... Fill up forms then validate, after validation payment, then ung encoding ng data at last printing... per stages maybe 3 hours each... kase second day ng bagong taon so dami kumuha... about sa may "hit", i've heard ba you will be interviewed at pabalikin after 10 days... Hopefully by this time d na madami kumukuha, kase i've heard sa news na sobrang dami kumuha ng nbi clearance last few weeks kase close pa ung sa satelite stations nila sa malls. Pero if nase province ka, i've heard mas mabilis kumuha dun... Good luck Tabs! God bless....

Thanks for the information. I had a similar experience in Alabang. That's why I am not looking forward to do this again. But I have to comply. I hope this online form will reduce the waiting time.

Thanks. On the bright side, everyone knows I am female in the forum. LoL

Definitely will comply and I won't forget the photographs.

How long did it take until you guys got 'in process' on ECAS after PPR email?

Mine still have 2 lines on my ECAS.

Your posts made me check my ecas status which now shows "Decision Made".

I'm taking this as a positive sign :D so i'm thankful!

Hi guyz...

Upon checking my eCAS yesterday it was only application received. Medical done Jan. 8 '14, as per SLEC they forwarded our medical results (me & my wyf) dated Jan. 17 '14 but the medical result of our son was forwarded Jan. 27 '14. When I checked my eCAS today its appeared In Process, there are only 2 lines 1. application received dated Oct '13 2. started processing application Jan 28 '14. I don't have any idea when did they received or do they receive our medical results... Any thoughts or any of you guyz have the same situation..

Thanks. I still have to detour to NBI, hahaha

Slight, delay. :o :o :o

Sayang tabs, here in Cebu it's one day process anywhere. Just to share, I went to the NBI at Robinsons mall at 10am and finished it at 3pm. Yon lang, mahal din ang flight and accommodation. Hehe

Enjoy the process still. Once you receive your PP with visa, it would be sweeter. :-)
