I had a great experience at St. Lukes Global City. Walang pila. When I got there 3 lang kami. I think I was done with the whole process in about an hour and a half. They have efficient and helpful staff.

They also have a shuttle van from Glorietta which stops by around 7:30 a.m. ata un (pls. check their website) and takes you straight there. The shuttle can also take you back after.

I had my medical exams on July 5 and my ecas showed "medicals results received" on July 17. I'm not sure if this is fast enough compared to the other clinics though.

Whichever clinic you choose, I hope you pass with flying colors!

Hello kvalc81
Ano po usual na chinecheck nila?
hi, they get our blood to check for sugar levels, std and substance abuse. then the usual BP, vitals, medical history (previous major surgeries). they inspect your body for any unusual marks, etc. then chest x-ray for TB. then the doctor will interview you and your family regarding your family's medical history, just a casual conversation - not a sort of a police interview with the light shining down on you. the idea is they're checking if you're fit enough and will not be a burden on the canadian health care system since they have socialized health care system. that's pretty much it. goodluck and all the best! :-)

Hi,

I'm still on the early stage of application. Do they ask for medical history for the last 5 years only or from childhood? Do they also get the blood type?

Thanks!

Conradfael,

Hi may i know ur timeline from MR to addtnl docs? Thanks

We had our MR May 14, 2013 and I was asked for additional docs Last week of June ata yun... New nbi clearance and police clearance from Thailand... Buti nalang my police clearance arrived early so I was ready to send it right away... so ngayon waiting parin... hmmmm

For us naman, we spent the whole day at SLEC... there were a lot of people so the waiting was really long... we got home almost 7 in the evening na... and since I'm a nurse I was required to pay for additional test but the cashier was close by that time so I have to go back the next day to pay for it... I was thinking... sana pala at the start palang kung standard na pala yung tests na yun for nurses eh pinabayaran na nila agad... wala lang just an after thought lang naman... ;D

Are you currently working at thailand right now? Kasi may husband is a seaman before, and he's on vacation for more than 9mos. He decided to stop, and wait for our ppr, di naman siguro sila hihingi ng nbi at police if di cia currently working? Thanks in advance
