Hi everyone. Just wanna ask when will they ask for the NBI clearance. I have done my medicals already last week and submitted additional medical forms last Tuesday. Also I have paid for my RPRF.

They haven't asked me for my NBI clearance. Is this normal? Should I ask the VO?

Thanks in advance.

Must have changed since - the image I quickly googled up seems to be dated a year old.

In any case - one of your fears is here with the receipt/payer information is how to tie the payment to your application, considering that the payer information on the receipt may not be the principal applicant. You are starting your application and you may not have a UCI yet, so what you can do is create on a separate sheet a note or a cover letter explaining that this receipt is in payment for processing fees etc. of the application of (name of principal applicant). Include in there the pertinent details of the receipt - Receipt number, date of payment, amount etc. This then will link the receipt/payment to the submitted application, showing the processing fees for the application has been paid.

/Good luck and all the best....

@lalabaul

Nagbayad din ako online. I have the same receipt form as you described but the difference is I paid with my own credit card that's why I didn't faced the same problem. In my opinion, you should put your name as the payer since you have to fill-up UCI No. (w/c you don't have at the moment), Date of Birth of the client, Address of the client and Telephone number. It appears to me that the information required is of the applicant/client (w/c can be considered also as the "indirect" payer). Anyway, I don't think that CIO will refer to your filled-up receipt in case of refund but rather on the electronic data of the payment transaction. Most of the digits of the credit card number in the receipt are "blanked-out" anyway...all the more that it cannot be their basis when making a refund.

Yes that's normal. It could be asked later but for now, no need to follow up your VO.
Happy waiting!

@ad123164 - Yes they will :) - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=619&t=4- :)

My first application submission for PR was returned for incorrect mode of payment (I used the wrong receipt form) - so I had to pay a 2nd time for the resubmission, and request for refund as in the link above to get my 1st payment. Check comes in a few weeks later....

@lalabaul - as mentioned in one of the threads I sent in my previous post the opinion is Payer Information is only relevant in cases of refunds. What is important right now, is in the absence of a UCI or File Application No. tying or linking your receipt of payment of processing fees to your submitted application, you need to identify the payment as for your application (processing fees for your application). Enclosing the receipt with your submission is one way, another is as advised by ad123464 or as others who have paid online have done - put your name in the payer information in the receipt - anyway there are "no clear instructions" in the receipt form whose name should be placed there. Right now, the only printed information tying the two (application and payment) together will be the principal applicant's name.

/all the best....

Have you previously included NBI certs or PCCs when you submitted your application?

Hello kababayans!
Been away for a week-long vacay to Mindanao. Went back to my roots (or at least my mom's) and introduced my family to my relatives before we finally leave for winter wonderland.
Congratulations to iam_ayen, ninonhet, shelalaine, tweety05 and everyone who received good news.
Sorry Ayen di ko na nasagot yung pm mo, but I'm so glad you finally received your PPR!
Mukhang si Ma'am AnL na lang kulang sa November group, malapit na yan Ma'am!
Got home to good news too, got back our passports & COPR last Tuesday, and ecas was also updated to Decision Made. We're scheduled to fly in September.
Thank you forum mates for making the wait less painful, for sharing advice and experiences. I'd be lost without the information I read from here.
God bless everyone!
Congratulations!

Hi Ragluf!

CIO also replied & reconfirmed yesterday that indeed my file was forwarded to ADVO. Nagrequest na rin ako sa ADVO for transfer to CEM in a letter-form which I have attached to my email...the content was based mainly on your advice. This time, the ADVO auto-reply states that reply shall be received within 15 days. The first time I sent email to ADVO, the computer-generated reply indicated 28 days to receive a reply ...at least maikli-ikli na ngayon...nasa 'pinas na siguro ako bago makatanggap ng sagot...thanks for the help.

Now am having a doubt re official receipt on line payment cause i put my husbands name as payer cause i use his credit card. I based it on the note at this site https://eservices.uc.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en

Here it is:
Note: In the event of a refund, CIC complies with the "Financial Administration Act". As per the Act, CIC is required to issue refunds to the payer. A payer is the person whose name appears on the credit card used to pay for the service.

Btw, am the principal applicant. Am getting nervous upon reading your reply re payments.
