Best source for the whole process to start with will be http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/index.asp
Processing times: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/provincial.asp - this gives you a gauge how long to get your PPs stamped with a visa.

/hope this helps...

so that's 11months.hopefully it can get faster than that. :) i plan to quit my present job and find another one while waiting for my visa. do you think it will affect my application? do they really verify employment status? thank you ragluf

Yeheh!!! We just received our passports with visa today... :D :D ....Thank God!!!

Ask Lang po yung COPR namin it has a "not valid for travel" stamp across the document...is it ok?

The COPR is not a travel document; it is a status document (permanent resident status). You cannot use the COPR to travel into and enter Canada; you use the visa for this. At this point, you have been granted PR status, but you need to enter and complete 'landing' in Canada to activate your PR.

Congratulations vampy!
