yes, i'm still in Dubai...I've sent my application for Provincial Nomination in Winnipeg(March 2011). Then after nomination, I submitted the PR visa application to CIO, however AbuDhabi is my nominated local visa office.

Ala kasi akong relative sa Canada, though I want to migrate there if given an opportunity. Buti naman at may mga blogs na ganito, where we can get some ideas and help.

Still waiting... keeping busy with work in the meantime.

When were your passports received at CEM? My tracking shows the passports were received around Sept 19, and two weeks after - DM.

Me too also busy on a company initiated project. Still no sign of DM it's going to be a month now of waiting for our DM Can I confirm if they received our PP?

Sure - either do a case-specific inquiry or just send them an email. Unfortunately we all know CEM does take their "sweet time" to reply (if they reply at all ).

They did say in the PP letter they will return the PPs within 90 days, so I am counting that they commit to that time period. Nevertheless, I will be ordering GCMS notes come Oct 19, which is 1 month from when they received (as per tracking) the PPs, and again on Nov 19 (if nothing still happens)... The status of the application should be seen in those notes.

Good luck ... The waiting never ends but I do believe it makes the end result much more sweeter.

as of today Passport Request received thru email.

malapit na rin yung PPR mo kasi magkasunuran lang tayo ng Medical.

Thanks God my medical done yesterday,August 30 AOR received and October 11 medical request received more than a months din,subrang worried talaga ako,then today 1am Canada time Canadian Embassy manila phone me confirm nila na na received na daw nila yung mga addtional documents namin and sinabi na di na daw kailangan mag medical ang husband ko kasi kakamedical lang niya as spousal,just curious talaga bang tatawagan ka nila to confirm?

You're really a good help to all forum members, all i have to do now is wait again...beginning to enjoy this waiting game i guess...family get excited whenever a courier van passes by didn't know that DM is not posted yet..In His Time...

My uncle in Manitoba was asking me if the Settlement Plan 2 is needed to be notarized like the old MAS Affidavit form? can somebody share some experience about his concern? because based on the SP2 form there is no portion for notarizing the document?

Hi me_anne08, same thing happened to us. CEM called up my husband for medical reasons - I believe they were trying to follow up on the additional medical test that my husband needed to do, as opposed to your hubby not needing one anymore. My 88-year old grandmother answered the call, so I was in doubt, ika ko baka telemarketer lang yun. In any case, the following day, we received a letter from CEM via snail mail, so I emailed them saying "sorry to have missed your call, but we received your posted mail about the deadline for the additional medical procedure..." (and then stated my case). So far hindi naman na sila nag reply kahit na I said "sorry to have missed your call", so I guess sila nga yung tumawag. If you're in doubt, you can always email them saying that you are acknowledging their call and instructions. Pag walang reply, legit nga yung call. Perhaps someone in the forum can share their experience kung tumawag sa kanila CEM about a follow up. Hope that helps.
