Hello everyone! Na miss ko itong forum na ito which was a big help to me when my apps is still in process. Just want to share some experiences since it's been a month since we landed.

My family of four landed in Vancouver on June 23, did immigration process there which was quite smooth. Our connecting flight was cancelled so we stayed overnight in the airport..good thing malalaki na ang mga anak ko. We just enjoyed roaming around. We then landed in Winnipeg on the 24th. Eveything in general was fine. We got our health card and SIN the following day, opened bank account after a few days. We all attended Manitoba Start..met some of forum members ;D happy to see them there.

Excited kami that we are already here on CANADA DAY..one of the reasons why we booked a flight kahit mahal ang ticket nung June, lol! We went to Canadian Royal Mint (where Canadian coins are made), Legislative Building of Manitoba, and watched fireworks at The Forks.

We've been around the city, maliit lang naman ang Winnipeg. It was really good that it is summer here when we came. Honeymoon stage is the first 2 weeks, went FISHING, STRAWBERRY PICKING, SWIMMING, etc. Then, isip isip na maghanap ng work.

Got to apply to different companies, online, in person. Tyaga, tyaga lang. I got my first job already, will start next week. Nauna pa ang anak ko magka work sa kin, she has 3 jobs already, praise God!

Congratulations to those who received good news! You will all reach the finish line, just keep your hopes high..have faith!

I'm happy for you and your family. Sana tuloy2x na yung swerte nyu dyan sa Canada. Kami din sana pagdating namin dyan, sana makahanap kaagad nang work. Question lang po since nandyan na ho kayo.. papano po pag yung baby ko maliit pa, he'll be turning 3 next yr pgdating namin dyan kasi next yr pa plan namin mga April. papano po kaya arrangement for my husband and I in taking care of our baby. Is there a situation like that na nandyan na in Canada? Like, dapat di magkaparehas yung sched nang work namin ni hubby pra there is someone who can watch over our son (sana makahanap nang work na maganda ang sched, praying to God for this) o meron hu bang day care center where we can leave our kid for a while then kunin nalang namin sya after work? Thanks po nang marami in advance.

Nag in-process ka na? Appearance of IP and Medicals Received at this point (nasan nga pala ang updated timeline mo?) indicates typical processing ka, and next step nga is PPR (barring any new requests for add'l docs). Typical processing means wala kang medical furtherance, at hindi late ang ibang docs mo.

Di mo kailangan umuwi sa Pilipinas - pwede naman i-courier ang PPs mo papunta ng CEM. Wala naman restriction ang PH government sa transfer/courier of PPs between countries so far. Now lately, napansin ko me mga posters na via SG VFS hinihingi ang PPs, so dun mo ipadadala ang PPs then sila (SG VFS) ang naghandle ng transmittal sa CEM. Medyo kaunti pa lang ang me ganito, so di pa malinaw kung ito ang process for the future. In any case, ang PPR will have instructions on where and how to send the PPs, so read through all the included instructions when you get the PPR letter.

Yung status sa eCas "In Process" then pagopen mo nung link may 3 lines:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on March 29, 2014.
2.We started processing your application on July 15, 2014.
3.Medical results have been received.

I had my medical examination on 7/15 then na forward yung result nung 7/18. I also submitted the additional docs (RPRF, NBI and PCC) on 7/15 and was received on 7/21.

Congrats sa mga PPR na..

My status kasi sa eCas is "Medecal received" and dun sa nababasa ko dito sa forum ang next stage is PPR. Currently, im here in Singapore (pass holder) paano kung nagrequest na sila ng passport kailangan ko na bang umuwi ng pinas? Sa mga forum mates na taga Singapore or sa mga seniors need your advise.

Nandito din kami sa SG nagmedical kami last june 9 pero nagreques ang CIC ng further ECG nung June15th para sa asawa ko kasi my hypertension.Nagsend ka ba ng email sa CEM kasi para mabilis ung progress ng case mo?Sa amin kasi nag in process nung June 11 hanggang ngayon wala pang nagreflect na medical received.

Nagreply lang ako sa email nila after ko macomplete yung medical examiniation and additional docs. Ngrequest na ba si CEM ng additional docs?

Hi Zhay,

Wala naman sila nirequire na ibang docs pero meron lng sila pinaexplain sa activity history namin so sinubmit namin explanation letter namin nung June 24th.So far up to date wala na kaming narinig sa kanila.Sana naman malapit na rin tayong maggraduate para makapagsimula ulit.
