How do they send back payments? Or how do we get a refund?

if you paid by credit card and the submission was returned, there will be no charge on your bill statements. Check your statements for the credit card.

Aayusin na namin yung form na kulang pero gusto sana namin pag i-send ulit sa CIC CIO ay sure na at walang mistakes. Kelangan kaya namin mag print ng mga panibagong forms o yung sinoli sa amin ang i-send na lang ulit?

As for the strike, affected most are operations in foreign missions, not CIO, which is staffed in Canada. Most likely the delays now are attributed to a lot of people on summer vacation and the consolidation of functions in CIO to handle case processing also like in Ottawa.

About our payment, we did check with the bank just the other day. Sabi ng bank kung ibinalik ng CIO ang payment dapat may overcharge sa end namin. But based on their database, wala daw overcharge meaning hindi daw ni-cancel ng merchant (in this case yung CIO) yung payment. I think nasa kanila pero hindi pa encashed.

The printed receipt is with us so I think we'll just have to send everything again katulad ng ginawa ni Ninonhet.

Thank you po ulit sa mga opinions. Nakakalito yung ibang abbreviations/acronyms (sorry, newbie here) but I would like to congratulate you guys anyway!

Seeing your post gave me such a smile in the morning (na pa OMG yata ako!). I have no words to express what joy it is for me to know your wait has ended. Both you and kurt have been extra special in minding after the MPNP threads and both of you should be rewarded for those efforts.

Never lost faith you will get what you wished for - the PRVs! It did work out all in the end, did it not? - just a slight hiccup in the midst of the process but the same result.

Could not be much happier for you - and what a feeling is it right? ;D ;D ;D. Time to celebrate before hunkering down into the business of packing....Sept departure - just in time for the school opening so kids can adjust quickly to the new environment.

Don't worry about resubmitting the application - it happens often than you think. Happened to me too. Think of it this way, you have been given a "redo" and a second opportunity (not many do at this early in the application process) - anything you need to correct, change or review - do it now. Use the old posts for information on what successful applicants have put in before to strengthen your application and minimize requests for clarifications and additional docs down the line.

I'm new here. Just wondering how long does it take to receive the AOR from CIO after sending it? I have sent it through courier on May 24, 2013 and until now still haven't received any email. I'm getting worried... Thanks.

Welcome to the thread.

Seems to be the trend recently, with AORs being sent with increasing times from the start of the year. Some have received it within 45-60+ days but recent posts show the time is increasing to 70+ days.

Be patient...and hold on to your copy of the courier tracking receipt.
End of this month, if no AOR forthcoming, inquire at CIO if they have received the submission.

I read a few of your previous posts. Na-inspire po ako sa bilis ng naging processing ng visa ninyo kahit na nagkaproblema noon at ibinalik ng CIO ang application nyo. Actually, parehas na parehas po tayo ng naging problema: kulang din kami ng ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION. Yung husband ko po ang principal applicant so nakaligtaan namin na dapat pala meron din ako ng form na yon. I am happy for you and with how things turned out for you, Ninonhet.

Mejo worried lang kami sa magiging timeframe ng application namin dahil may welga ang union sa office ng CIO according sa website nila. Pero like they say, 'STAY POSITIVE!' God bless us all.

Hi cheeny chot! Marami na rn naman ang nagkaroon ng bumps along application,it happens and it turned out positive naman in the end. Btw,dun s personal history,lagay mo na rom 18yrs to present para nde ka na hingan ng update in the latter part of the processing. Good luck on your application! God bless!
