Could you please share your CEC timeline when a spouse was added after ITA due to marriage?
My timeline:
Should I be worried about the criminality taking this long? I’ve seen some applicants get their criminality passed within 3–4 days, but mine has been in progress for almost 3 weeks now, and my spouse still hasn’t received a BIL.
If anyone has a similar case, especially CEC applicants who added their spouse after ITA due to marriage, please share your timeline and experience. It would be really helpful!

My timeline:
- AOR: March 24
- Biometrics (Primary Applicant): May 26
- Wedding: May 17
- Spouse added under dependent in gc key: July 27
- Medical: August 20— both primary applicant and spouse updated
- Eligibility: Completed
- Information Sharing: Completed
- Security: Completed
- Criminality: In progress for 3 weeks
- Spouse BIL: Still not received
- Spouse fees & biometrics fee: Paid upfront
- Application: Outland
