time line for immigration in family class from Pakistan..

hello room...
I am married for past one year.. My wife is a PR card holder and I am a Pakistani citizen.. My wife went to canada for delivery.. she gave birth to a beautful son 2 months back... Since my case is in process i am having a very difficult time to be away from my son and the wife...

Can any one please tell me, atleast how long it will take approimately to get my process done...
my case was applied in oct,2010....

Surely it will be a great help to me, please reply if any one has any information about how much time it will take...

You may want to take a look on the thread for Islamabad. The processing time is currently listed at 16 months. You may get a better idea from some people processing through there. Congrats on the birth of your son!

thanks,, i just wish the time was short. havent seen my son for 2 months will its going to take a year more.. God have mercy on my soul...

First of all congrats for the Baby boy. I don't have any intention to scare you but it is taking on average about 16 months for female cases and atleast 20 months for male cases according to the applicants on this forum so be very prepared for the waiting and follow the thread below for more questions and help...
My wife's process started in March 2010 in Islamabad and she has not heared anything till now. I hope you get lucky to get an early VISA good luck!

Well thanks, for replying Its being already very hard, I was with my wife for only 3 months then suddenly we got the biggest and the sweetest news.. Well, never the less I am a proud father and this will going to keep me going, and i wish my mother-inlaw should go to hybernation... Amen
