I and our daughter have visited him 3 times and stayed for few months... so this time i was thinking to just apply for his visitor visa....

Ah, okay, you can certainly expect a longer processing time for sure then, if you look at other Pakistani applicants on the spreadsheet quite a few of them are quite long applications. Keep your MP on top of them, and send another email and see.

You can try applying for the visitor visa, but it may get turned down, I think people have had issues having the visa approved because of the chance of the applicant staying in Canada past the visa validity, but you can always try and see. Might also be worth checking in on the Pakistan thread to see what they have to say about it.

SEPARATE NOTE: Is anyone else having problems posting lately?!? It often takes me 3-4 attempts to submit a post. I'll write up a response, hit Post, and then it gives an error that the last posting from my IP was less than 30 seconds ago, which I didn't do! So I hit back, wait a minute, then try again, then it often says "you already submitted this post!" I'll refresh the page to see, and my post isn't there. Rinse, repeat. It usually takes 3-4 tries before the post finally sticks. It's super infuriating. (Windows 8.1, Chrome)

yeah i am seeing this too. i simply copy what i have written and than i refresh and paste it and than post it.i dont now y this happens but i am seeing this from a long time.

Im in Pakistani thread as well. All of them get done wiithin 10 -24 months. We passed 24 months. Oh well what to say...SIGH....will try visitors visa ..i know there is only 50/50 chance...i hope theres no effect of it on sponsorship applucation...

Hey Guys,

Does anyone have a clue what London are doing about outstanding Apps that were sent in August, September and October of 2015... London seems to have been on a go slow... After early January they do not seem to have passed any other applications from these months and still counting!!!

Any clues am sure quite a few people are starting to worry...

Hi! I have had a DM on March 15/16 but still no COPR. I have emailed CIC on April 4 and someone emailed back asking me for my address and said that they will send it. I emailed back but heard nothing since. Still no DM and have emailed 3/4 times but nothing. It's now almost 7 weeks since DM and i am due to arrive in Canada in three weeks. Any advice on what to do next? MP???
