Sounds like your application is in line with mine - I also got a request for French police certs on Jan 19th (I think on the spreadsheet I just mentioned "additional documents") - Do you think this is slowing our apps down? I noticed that some applicants who applied in November have already gotten confirmation..

Yeh I think so.

Hopefully only the time it took to send in the additional documents. Are you also being processed in Mississauga?

Apply spouse from UK with British passport, do we still need birth certificate for hub?
He's not born in the UK.

Also, I was wondering if anyone can explain the difference between average processing times of the London office on the spreadsheet (about 6-7 months for 2014) and the CIC figure (29 months). I know there are variations, but the slowest times seem to be about a year on the spreadsheet. Is it (please say it is) a glitch or alarmism on the CIC site?

A lot has been said about the LVO processing time change from 11 months to 29 months. The general consensus is that this change reflects how long the applicants from Pakistan have been waiting. Islamabad had a huge backlog so files were transferred over to London to help. The average time on the spreadsheet should still apply to applicants who are British citizens.

Hi,

yes you have to provide birth certifcate from which country he was born, if you cant get hold birth certificate, then he need to go to any solicitor with his british passport and get statutory declaration.

i had the same problem my home country embassy couldnt provide the birth certificate i just went to lawyer and got statutory declaration.

I doubt very much if you will hear anything from London unless they want something from you. London don't send out AOR

My package isn't delivered yet. but I don't expect any acknowledgement from LVO.
