1. Forum users add their Timelines to Spreadsheets to keep a track of applicants progress. It can sometimes help us to track london's progress by comparing other users who have similar timelines....here is the london VO spreadsheet **LINK REMOVED SO CAN POST** if you would like to be added, just post your timeline (details required for the spreadsheet)

2. You cannot change your profile to have fancy stuff until you make a certain number of postings so once you reach 10, you can change or add certain aspects of your profile, the more you post the more fancy stuff you can do ;D

Anyone got any timelines on how long PR cards are taking to come just now? They said 'up to 2 months' after landing, but is this an under or over exaggeration?

I got mine about 7 weeks after I landed, it does take awhile!

Has anyone had committed a crime in their teens (theft) and had problems with their visa, I'm worried something silly I did in my teens will affect the decision on my visa or delay the process since this event in my teens I have always been in a professional job and have passed (criminal background checks in the uk) to be able to work in banking.

quick msg. on my phone. we have an update from mp. medical has been found. exactly where i told them it would be and app is under review. not sure how long to go but i am pleased they have found it. medicals expire in 4.5weeks not sure if i should point this out or not to them....

You would like to think that they know this, I myself would probably mention it, however I am a bit of an over worrier at times

Yeah! great news.... I think it's worth mentioning.... the worst that can happen is that they don't answer to you. If they say they will extend them, then you know that the visa is a bit delayed... if they say that they should be able to issue the visa before that, then you'll know more!

Planning to flagpole next weekend...never thought I would hear myself say that!!

Probably need to make a trip back to UK before my PR card is likely to come through do you guys think that is likely to cause me any issues? I guess I will have a copy of COPR?

Was it in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or England and Wales? I believe that will make a difference, though it's my understanding that your record is cleared on turning 16. That might just be Scotland though. I was arrested twice as a kid (once for playing with Kendo Swords in my back lane, and once for shoplifting), but it was never taken any further by the authorities and I have no record. God, I sound terrible now. I wasn't a bad kid! I just grew up on the mean streets of Glasgow!

Wonderful news! Bloody incompetence on the part of CIC that it took this long. If I were you, I would email them right now and ask for an extension on the medicals. The sooner they get that ball rolling the better. They bloody owe you one for their foolishness!

Hello!!!! I'm just checking in after being away for far too long! I did feel the earthquake, it was crazy!! Thats my second I've felt since I'm here, 3 yrs next month

I got my PR card in the post a couple weeks ago, feels good We're bringing a friend across the border to US and back to "land" on her IEC. We're going to just go to Walmart or something and come back a few hours later. It'll be nice to flash my PR card coming back in

Super busy in work so I haven't been around but its great to see people getting DM and COPRs! I'm delighted for everyone!

DGT, I hope things with you have improved and you guys can wait it out. This process is just awful and puts an awful strain on relationships. Fingers crossed!

Scottishmaple, I really hope they hurry the hell up and you get DM soon! I was hoping to see you'd gotten it! But it's close I know it!

Finally some news for you... I admire your controlled nature. I would of thrown my teddies out the pram a long time ago...if I was in your position.. I feel you won't meet your target of 365 days.. lol.

Thank you everyone. You would think that they would know that our medicals expire but my faith in them actually giving two hoots is non existing. I think I will email them on Monday as that will be 1 month before they expire. I wish I knew when they found the medical as this would give me some sort of indication of how long they have been reviewing my file....
