The only condition with the Police Certificate is that it should be current at the time that the application arrives. Once it's there, you should only need to have it redone if they suspect that there may be new information on it.

I did notice that your medical was done very early in the application process. The normal rule of thumb for upfront medicals is to do them just before posting the application, to give as much time as possible for the processing before risk of medical expiry. Yours is so far out that I suspect that they couldn't consider an extension of validity.
That makes perfect sense, thanks for your reply. I'm going to book a medical appointment ASAP. London Visa office seems really slow!!!

Hi Everyone

I need an advice please.
We have just received an email requesting Schedule A (IMM5669) - Personal History/Address History up to 18. They want to original and we did 100% sure added that in to the file. I don't know if CIC lost it or they are just trying to gain time... anyhow my question is : I have a copy scanned of that form, do you think its okay to send it back to them with a letter explaining that they should have that in the files or just fill an other copy and send it anyways?

I saw on this forum some other applicants getting asked for this kind of information is this normal??

Thanks guys I always appreciate your advices and help!

Did you submit it for the last 10 years or back to 18? Assuming you are over 28. The wording is a bit ambiguous and I think most over 28 would assume last 10 years but it seems CIC often request back to 18.

Hey SM. You''ll only get taxed on it if the items arrive before you land as a PR. So you should be fine!

Hey!

Don't worry about this too much. It's pretty normal at this point for CIC to ask for this. A scanned copy will be fine for them too. As herewecome stated, if in your original Schedule A you didn't go back to the age of 18, it might be advisable to do so as they seem to like that.

Only if the boxes arrive before she lands as a PR and submits her B4. B4's are cross checked against goods after they arrive at the port of entry in Canada. They can't apply any tax prior to that. On the other hand, if the items arrive before a B4 has been filed at entry then the items will be taxed.

"Sending". As long as they don't "Arrive" before she lands a PR with a B4 there will be no taxes. Most shipping of boxes by sea takes around 2-3 months.

So the best thing is to wait if I havent got PR and get someone to mail my belongings after or come back and get them?

If you have some that would be willing to ship your stuff after you leave, that's a good bet. Otherwise, most shipping places allow you to put goods into storage for a bit before the stuff ships out.

I used Seven Seas by the way and they were pretty decent. Used them before when I moved back from Australia. Pretty affordable, they give you boxes and pick up from your door.

Isn't it funny how you can glean more information from Twitter than from official websites and contacts?
