In the previous spreadsheet there was a column for AOR ( acknowledgement of receipt) but London never sends one ( or almost never). So some people got the confirmation that their file were in London when they contacted London about something else (adding a paper etc), and London responded - hence confirming that the file has arrived. Some VO send an AOR every time they receive new files from Mississauga, but London doesn't...just have to assume that the file is there.SwedentoQuebec said:

ok thanks that clear things up for me. I have another question actually im not so informed of how it works once you get your DM, ive been reading post about people having to send in their passports and stuff. im applying from Sweden but im in Canada on a visitors visa now, will i have to send my passport from Canada to London at one point? is it safe? and will they send it back to me in Canada or the address ive given in Sweden since im applying from there? is it easier if i fly back when i get my DM?michty6 said:
