OMG, what a feeling.

We FINALLY mailed our package today for spousal sponsorship. What a f-in minor relief!

I guess the wait begins in a few days when they receive it!

I can't believe that we sent it out. This is a good feeling.

Just a question, after how long do you request FOSS notes? I know I am thinking way ahead but I just want to know when the appropriate time would be.
wow! congrats angtao! i've been waiting for your post on the february thread, and its good you finally get your application done and sent! best luck to you! (and me, lol :D) i am also almost part of march since cpc received our app on feb 28. the very last day! lol!

our package was almost of 2 kgs and we included 147 pictures from our wedding till she stayed here in the UK, put them in different envelops stating when these pictures were taken and who is in the pics, skype call logs, Facebook wall posts(not the personal messages because i think they were personal), our travel tickets and proof of visits to different attractions in the London and other cities, proof of her visit to canada in september, tenancy agreement, gifts given to eachother and what not,,, blaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! took us forever to put everything together :O

mississauga has just received it on 25th and i am feeling one heck weight off my head, but hang on, am i the only one who has become more impatient after sending my application or someone else is with me on this boat :D

(thanks to Baloo of letting me know that i can track royalmail post through Canada post which confirmed the delivery :D)

Dorisiana,

I thought we were ready to go for February but it looks like we were missing a few things.

Our package is on route still. We sent it on March 22 and it is expected to arrive by Apr.1. I hope it gets there in March so I could be part of the March thread.

That also applies to some other countries, not just the UK.

Just checked CIC website. It was last updated March 23, they are currently looking at applications received Feb 22nd. Getting close to March!! Oh happy happy joy joy :P

Just checked my FedEx tracking today and package was signed for by Phoebe at 10:45 am today. Hooray! Here we go!

Does anyone know now how long it takes to get a case number or to start checking your status online? Will they contact me?

Hello all:

Really excited to announce that my (Canadian) wife and I (American) got my PR app sent out on March 15, my daughter's birthday and Mississauga received it on March 17th.

5 Months in the making, we're so glad that we're done with it.

Wishing all the others who submitted their all the best!

congrats chinook,

on a lighter note for those who yet to have their medicals done from london,

there are two medical centres currently assigned by CHC-London, Michael j.clarke and Charles Easmon, Michael j. Clarke would charge me 247 quids for everything included and Easmon asked for 253+75 pounds for X-ray since they dont have X-ray facility and will get it done by some other medical centre, i have no idea why easmon is expensive, tests are pretty much same i believe, does anyone has any experience about it? i have got mine done though, just for those who are looking to get their's done in near future!

Does reading all of the posts in this forum make anyone else as paranoid as they make me? I keep reading about things that I didn't include. I just sent my army son off to get a medical even though he is not coming with us. I just had a HUGE fight with my X husband to get a letter of permission for our two younger sons to immigrate EVEN THOUGH I sent the divorce decree that grants me FULL legal custody.

I am losing weight due to worry! Is there anything ELSE that is going to F#@k up our application????

I believe that EVERYTHING is going to be Perfect and in the Perfect timing because I am loved by the universe and I deserve to have my dreams come true!!! (If I say it enough I will believe it right???)

still smiling!!!

Jana

Hi all, I sent out my application and confirmed receipt by Mississauga on March18 (checking via the Canada Post tracking system).
I'm a Canadian citizen and both my husband and I are living and working in Hong Kong. It took us over 6 months to get everything done (too busy at work during the day and hectic at night taking care of our 1.5yr old!) I got kind of nervous before sending the application because I found the immigration/sponsor guide was updated AFTER I downloaded it last Oct. but I couldn't find the difference btwn the old version and new version! I hope the forms weren't updated too! :o Finally I gave up comparing as it was already stressful enough !

Jana: YES, I feel the same way as you as I kept reading things that I didn't include (I only included less than 10 wedding photos and around 20 travelling photos and some of my son when he was born in the hospital, etc). I don't have any phone records, emails nor internet chat records because we never kept them and they were ages ago. We met 13 yrs ago and married for nearly 10 yrs (this year will be our 10th anniversary!) and have a son together. So I hope that it is understandable that we won't keep these records for 14yrs !! And honestly, some of the questions asking about dates (like the first time we met), we just tried to make a good guess...realistically, how would someone remember, month & year is ok but which DAY we met 13 yrs ago is a bit tricky! Hope CIC will believe us??

I hope the process can be smooth and not take as long as they state in their website (16 months for Hong Kong!). Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone!!

Hey guys! Noobie here joining the March 2011 applicant party!

I'm working through lawyers and actually started the application process in November with them, lots of back and forth, and the final packet went off March 15 and was received March 16 in Mississauga. It feels great to finally get it out, though of course, I'm anxious already for the upcoming months to fly by! I'm US and my wife is Canadian, both currently living in Texas, so excited to get to cooler weathers... eventually lol!

To Jana and pogobb: I get exactly how you feel! I'm shelling out for lawyers and as mentioned they wouldn't submit the application until they were satisfied, but reading over all the posts here I'm getting more and more paranoid that we didn't include enough photos, enough emails, enough this enough that... all I can do at this point, though, is cross my fingers and hope my complete application is good *cross fingers*

Good luck to everyone!!!!!

They are working on apps received March 1st now!

Jana I am totally with you on that one! While most of these forum posts have helped me immensely another handful have made me over think some of my applications/documents. At the end of the day everyone's situation is different..... and it's all out of my hands now! The good news is, that while still checking the forum I haven't once yet obsessed over anything over or underdone in my application package!

Tulamoon where do you see this information? hehe AS IF I need anything else to constantly check! Maybe I should just leave it up to you to keep with the updates. ;D
