Thread for December 2010 Applicants

Yay Cindy! Buffalo finally enters December! ;D
 
I'm trying to get a sense of how long Buffalo is taking from receipt of AOR to Date of Approval

After checking at http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/family-class and sorting by Family Class and Buffalo, it seems to be on average 2-3 months.

Does that seem correct? I always heard it's about 6-8 months, but according to the spreadsheet it generally seems to be 2-3 months.
 
Hi Cindy! Congrats on the AOR! I also received one from Buffalo this morning. :) If you find a post from Sparkle in our thread, she has a link in her footer that goes to a spreadsheet of current Buffalo processing times.

Just for the information of the Buffalo group, there were two PPR's from the November Buffalo group today.

@ NAFTA.couple - I'm sorry I'm so slow to comment, but congrats on your In Process! I hope that you make it through Buffalo quickly. :) I've updated your information on our spreadsheet, so you should be able to see that in Friday's post.

Whenever I look at that spreadsheet it baffles my mind as it looks like no AORs (at least for people signed up on this site and in that spreadsheet) went out in February at all. Glad they are finally starting to come out now.

Cindy and Quakingaspen, did you guys get it in email or by checking ecas?
 
I received mine by e-mail. They come to the applicant... I don't think the sponsor gets one (but I'm not sure on that). The address I received it from is: re-BFALO.IM-REG-ARCH@international.gc.ca

You might want to check your Junk box. A lot of people have had them show up there.

You and Kaz should probably have them waiting somewhere. :)
 
Yes, the applicant (my hubby) got his by email.
 
Hi all,

Congrats to the applicants seeing movement with Buffalo VO and all other applicants moving forward. Yay!

It seems im only receiving e-cas updates re: medical results appearing and disappearing. So I checked e-cas manually and found :)

"We received your application for permanent residence on January 28, 2011.

We started processing your application on March 4, 2011.

Medical results have been received"

I saw narcotics update and was starting wonder...but so I glad to have found an update today!
 
Yay! Congrats on the "In Process" Gally. :) Hopefully we'll start having some PPRs from Sydney soon. Do you guys know about how long in is after the In Process?

SYDNEY VO - not too many applicants to get a true sense of processing timelines.

Looking at this forum - Ive seen 3 months in total processing time - filed at MISS. to issuing of Visa.
And longer for those wanting to settle in Quebec.

canadayogini in November thread is still awaiting her PPR.
