I am just curious. What does it means when your app is "in process" --is it a good news or a bad one?. Does it also mean "rejection"?

I believed your sponser was approved already....right???
Congrats !!! When did you see " in process" ?

This is killing me, because I'm sure mine has been looked at now but ecas just isn't updated! My Canadian husband works when CIC works so he can't call them. Grrr.

Just so every one is aware, processing time on CIC website JUST changed.
Officially, they are processing up to July 30th and average time is 42.

another question. Will they (cic) transfer your file in your visa office even if your eligibility to sponsor wasn't approved? or they will just transfer your file in your visa office once you are approved/eligible to sponsor?

All I know is that you can check online with your receipt number, but only when they open your file will it work. Not sure about calling them...

Oh my goodness. I just checked exactly what day August 13th was. That's when my application was received in Mississauga. It was Friday the 13th!!!! ??? Oh that can't be good.

Well CIC updated, processing applications received July 30th as of Aug 30th and dropped to 42 days. Next week we should start to see some progress!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ECAS UPDATED!!! "Decision made on September 1" I hope that's a good sign!!! I actually started crying... I've been waiting for so, so long to see this page ;D
