Hi everyone!

Just wanted to let you know, we sent our application August 3 (received august 4) to Mississauga. Called today and was told that my application was approved yesterday and has already been sent to London!

So exciting! So looks like it's less than the 44 days listed, just wanted to let you know, I know the waiting is killer!

The waiting is indeed killer, but knowing they are already processing august apps is fantastic! Thanks for informing us, I hope your process goes super fast from here on out!

Does anyone else feel that it is huge stress relief to get over the first stage of approval? It's like... once you're approved as sponsor you know your application is TRULY making progress?

I just want to get my approval. Too bad I'm last on our list. :'(

We tried to check online but it never showed up. So I called today and she said it was approved yesterday and sent to London. My guess is that it never showed up because they update the system on Tuesdays, but it never even showed up to say anything at all.

Yes. it's a painful process. I already did the biting once. We had a previous conjugal partner application, and waiting was the worst. then we finally withdrew and waiting til we were married. Pain in the butt to have to keep waiting. but our time will come

I am just curious. What does it means when your app is "in process" --is it a good news or a bad one?. Does it also mean "rejection"?

It's good, it means they are actively working on it. It doesn't signify rejection or approval.

It means they are reviewing your application and have not made a decision yet. Its a good thing because soon you will be getting your first response. Is your ecas saying 'in process'? Good luck though.
