I didn't send ours off in August but I just like this thread because of how nice nyssa is.
Anyway, our application was received by Vegreville about 2 weeks ago. We can keep each other up to date.

Please feel free to update with your visa office, when you filed and when CIC received your application! I'll begin posting up timetables soon. I'll be gone for a couple weeks in August (in Canada, visiting my husband... woohoo!! It's been three months!) but I should be able to log on with his laptop. My husband's paperwork finally showed up today. Think I've got everything ready to go and just have to print it all off tonight. *fingers crossed* the completed package will get shipped out tomorrow!!

canada post lost our application (the whole package) when the immigration returned our apps for minor errors/missing documents. So we have to start all over again...urghhh..dont want to think and talk bout it anymore because it was really a nightmare sorry :'( :'( :'(

Spiro - WHAT!? Did you re-send it on Friday and it JUST got lost?? I am so sorry, I know you do not want to talk about it. That is everyone's worst fear. My heart is breaking for you I went FedEx... do anything courier, is my suggestion, though I'm sure you were already planning on it.

Package Fedex'd out today!! Expected delivery in Mississauga tomorrow

All this rush to get it to Ontario so it can sit for 40 days.... weeeeee!

Also spiro, I apologize, after reading through your earlier posts I see this is the new application you just sent. Any word on it? Is it still going to be recieved tomorrow? Which visa office are you applying from?

Any questions from my previous app will be answered if my new apps went well For now, i'll keep my mouth shut and pretend that this is my first app so that it wouldn't break my heart that much ;D
