Sent today!!!

I sent it today from England to Mississauga. Sooo happy to have this off my chest but I'm so nervous now!

I sent it to the PO Box but then realised after I got back to work that it would need to be signed for. When I double-checked the address and saw the Courier address, I ran back to the Post Office and they changed it for me! Phew!!

It's a bit confusing how they say "For Spousal, Common-Law, and Conjugal Sponsorship Applications" and give a PO Box. I suppose that is if you are sending it by regular mail?? Who am I kidding? The whole application process was confusing!!

Oh well I'm just so happy to have it done! It should get there tomorrow. We've cut it pretty close though as my partner got his ACPO clearance 3 months ago on the 15th so I hope we'll be okay.

Glad to hear they let you change the address. The PO Box address works fine (but who would send the package snail mail unless they had to). I think everyone uses the courier address so that we can get the package there faster and get the delivery confirmation since the date it's received is the order they start processing in Mississauga.

Well ours got signed for today

It was supposed to be "Next day" - just a tip for anyone else, do NOT use Parcelforce.

They guaranteed Next Day by 12:00, but late into the day last night they said on the phone it still hadn't left Gatwick. Now today, they've doctored the tracking so it looks like it left yesterday as planned but was delayed in "Customs", which is what they're now saying - and so they do not plan on refunding as their policy states. I have just replied telling them I had "Print Screened" the tracking results each day (which I have) and that doctoring those result in order to escape compensation is fraud and a criminal offence!!! Honestly!!

Let's see what they say now!! Oh well, at least it got there. But I can't believe a company as big as Parcelforce would actually alter/delete/and manipulate tracking results AFTER it had been delievered. That is really unbelievable. One more reason I want to get back to Canada, I'm sick of everyone (corporations, companies, corner shops, employers, rental agencies) always trying to pull one on me!

Completed my Medical Appt today, so I am still on track for sending out the App in August!! Woo Hoo...one more step closer!!
