Maybe they're sending it by mail instead of email? How long ago was the Decision Made?

I noticed the status changed today (I've been checking every day since its been in process) but I'm anxious to know what the outcome is. Can CIC Canada call centre give me more info? Or I have to be patient lol...

You will probably get PPR soon... We had DM on ECAS and then 5 days later got PPR. There was no email before the PPR... If they did not ask for extra info or for an interview the DM status is most probably a good one.

I hope it's good news. I didn't get any interview or additional documents request at all but figured maybe they could still ask for this after decision made..
Thanks for the response. I'll be a lil patient :)

I got my COPR in the mail yesterday!

I'm in Canada on a visitor visa at the moment, and I'm going to the US to see family for Thanksgiving in a week so I will just bring all my paperwork and do the landing when I fly back.

I'm pumped! Crossing my fingers for the rest of you all!
hi truncat

how long did it take for you to receive COPR from the day your PPR was received at Ottawa?

I just got PPR today, so that was about 2 and a half weeks after Decision made, hopefully yours doesn't take that long. I think I will be out of luck to get COPR before I leave for NZ in a couple of weeks now, but not too worried, will just have to plan a trip to somewhere else warm in the new year like I was originally expecting to have to do.

Slightly random, but my landing date stated is a week after the expiry of my medical, but that's not until July so was never going to affect anything anyway.

Did they send you the PPR via email? I hope it's not too long until I get the request!

Hey guys,

My sponsor has a very small business which has barely operated in the last 12months.. My question is, should I be including this on the application when it asks about employment? She doesn't need to pass the income test and everything else is ready to go.. just tying up the last bits and pieces and tossing and turning on this last point.

Any help would be great!

I got PPR request which I am totally excited about! i was worried about the decision made.
I was after some clarification on the letter.
I am currently in Canada atm, and the instruction state that I can mail it to Ottawa with 2 prepaid envelopes. So I'm gonna buy 2 envelopes which are letter size xpress post as well as send a copy of my passport with all pages, photos and appendix B? I just want to make sure I don't make a mistake on how I'm reading it and don't miss anything.
Also is it just my name only that I put on the appendix B, as my partner is the one who is sponsoring me and is already Canadian? or does his name also have to be on the appendix B as a spouse?
And for those who sent it to Ottawa is the COPR issue quick?

Sorry for asking alot of questions and I'm sure these questions have been asked in the past but it is really hard to filter through the forum to find these answers.
Thanks!!

In same situation as you.

Appendix B is just you.

It has been 1 week for me since my PPR was received in Ottawa. Based on others, expecting to wait somewhere between 1 to 4 weeks more for COPR. Not much historical data for our situation, that's just a guess.

I've just been in this situation and it only took 1 week from when I sent it to receive my COPR from Ottawa.
You just put your photocopies of your passport pages, updated information of just you and the 2 x photos in 1 of the envelopes and then fold the remaining envelope (addressed to yourself) and put it in.
Congrats on the news!
I went to Rainbow Bridge at Niagara Falls for a flag poling and it was easy breezy.

Thanks for the info! Much appreciated. Btw I may ask you for some information about the flag poling too afterward if that's ok.

No worries, It's really easy.
Just inform the U.S border officer that you need to flagpole for Canadian PR and they'll wave you over to the office. Wait in the car and a officer will give you a piece of paper stating your flag poling and will escort you to a side gate. Drive through to the Toll and pay your $3 and go to the Canadian Toll. Hand them your passports and the piece of paper the U.S officer gave you and tell them you've just flagpoled and want to land as a PR. He'll ask you a few questions like any Immigration officer would (excess cash, stuff bought in the U.S) and then they'll tell you to park up over at the office. Walk in and tell the officers there that your'e here to land as a PR, hand over your passports and COPR and sit and wait. They'll call you over and ask a few questions that are on the COPR to confirm. Sit and wait a little bit. Then sign and initial a few things and then they'll staple it to your passport and welcome you as a PR! Your PR card will be mailed to you in 4-6 weeks. Don't need to apply for that, it automatically goes in.
Everybody was very friendly and it was a breeze. Thought it was going to be a shitshow but it wasn't.
