hi torvic and everybody else i recently had an interview approved afterwards sent my passport via courier to sydney vo. how long is it going to take for them to send back my visa and passport? anybody?

It really depends, i got mine un just under a week but was within Australia.

as it's wednesday, i'm sitting here doing the whole refresh thing on the processing time page. it's fruitless - they don't seem to do it during the day! forget the quarterly update times...i know it doesn't help but it gives me something to do while i wait the 20-30 days it's taking for stage 1!

Congrats Torvic!!!!! You knew it was on the way but I bet the stress didn't stop until you were holding the document! I think we definitely applied at the right time, I could never imagined this thing would be all over in under 3 months start to finish! Relief!!

RELAX! If they say 35 days, it will be at least 35 days until you get SA! Deep breaths, remember this is meant to be a year long process, if you check all day, every day you might go crazy.

It's a physical document (2 pieces of paper) they will actually send you. Courier would be a signed delivery. I just used express post and mine took 3 business days (in Australia).

I'm so glad we chose Sydney over Ottawa. Big thanks to Catou and mitchb86 for steering us in that direction before we applied.

If we sent it to Ottawa, I'm sure we wouldn't have this thing for another 12 months.

Hey guys...COPR arrived!

Congratu-fricken-lations! I got an email response from a query to Sydney saying they sent the COPR Feb 27th, it must be a matter of days! Almost over, almost over, almost over. Mine took 86 days from Mississauga to Visa Issued. Thestylemaster you were 74 right? Torvic you must be what, eighty something? From a posted '11 month' timeline. How lucky are we? I know the process sucked the souls right out of us, but I feel like CIC put them back in with some chocolates and flowers inside. Hopefully everybody gets this from now on.

It was 86 days from sending the application to receiving the COPR in the mail for us. CIC website still says decision made.
