i think they just want people to stop querying their matters so to loosen up time spent on answering such?
so they just give like the average time usually spent on applications.
maybe they want to discourage fraudsters from entering the process if they see the timeline is so long?
but this is hurting real couples like me.

Haha I just got sent an email apology from the Sydney office! We have reviewed your case and we retract our request for a Vic roads driving history. Bah I think I have a newbie on my case!! Just what I need, more waiting. This is doing wonders for my patience. ;D

Update for our Buffalo Application

10/16/10 request for the Right of PR fee
11/11/10 PPR
since my husband is going to travel early December, originally we requested a extension on the PPR, but later we decided to go to Buffalo in person to get the visa
11/18/10 got the visa and LANDED!! ;D

however, the immigration officer didn't let us apply for the maple card. My husband proved the address for him but told the officer that he is gonna come back in the US to tie up some loose end before he finally moves there, so he told him to apply when he's moving to Canada. Does anyone know if he will be able to travel by air next time when he goes to canada using his landing paper and visa? Thanks I'm soo happy it's all done!!

I hate Buffalo people, seems so short!Just kidding , don`t even consider me serious...I`m really happy for each and everyone who gets through early.

Honeybird, I guess they post a loose timeline on the website so people don`t start calling them after 10 months, complaining. There is hope, I see many of the January, February applicants are getting AIPs, some of them even landing interviews. I fear that they will have a holiday break at the end of Dec. and it will add up some delays again...

I actaully dont know wot to expect from this interview when it is finally scheduled.

just study your application form, and memories your love story ,also your important date like anniversary ,bday,first meeting coz dey will ask about your relationship your plan if they will refuse your application /what will you do in one of the forum they give some question so try to look for it

There's no feedback from Immigration Office so far. My police certificate will be expired on coming January and my medical examination report will be expired at the end of this year. I'm wondering what I should do? Wait for the first feedback from Immigration Office or apply for new medical examination and police certificate? The police certificate was done in Russia but since last December I'm in Canada. If I'm not mistaken this certificate is valid during one year.
Hope somebody can clarify.
