Hi Chinthu,
I send my PP on 24th August. That will b great if I'll get my PP this week. :)
Anyways all the best to you too. we'll get PP in same week.

Am actually frustrated just now as my application has been"in process" since 4th of August without any update. Am thinking about requesting for CAIPS on my case and maybe on my previous application through my wife in canada. Can anyone advise me where to get the necessary forms to use for this request and the useful numbers. my visa office location is london. And how long does the CAIPS request takes pls?

pls advise!!!!!!!!!!!

good news guys!!! just got my DM today. soooo happy about it!!!! hope everyone gets their good results soon :)

My husband went to Windsor today to submit fingerprints for the RCMP Record Check digitally (as per CIC's request). I really really hope that it means things are moving along. I think that I get more and anxious every day with all of the what-ifs.

If your are really Worried you can order CAIPS..But it takes 6 weeks to receive them..and only show the info in the system at the time you ordered them..so say If you ordered them today and they were processed tomorrow anything added to your file after tomorrow would not show up on your CAIPS

I would say its likely CHC-London does not want to interview you or require any more documents...and most likely something holding up your background check..I wouldnt be surprised if you get your PPR in a few weeks..dont worry if you have not had any E-CAS updates..I didnt have any either until a week after I got my PPR!! Try not to worry I am sure you will be ok! :D :D

Thank you britincanada! U r indeed an aspiration. I was only really confused seen u and others getting PPR and visa stamped despite our applications all started processing same month. Anyway.. am happy 4 u guys as well as i hope all the tension regarding the applications ends b4 next January 2011 as am not sure I can live in the UK anymore without having my wife with me.

Hey just wanted to update the June applicants particularly those applying via Buffalo.

On Monday, September 20th, we received my visa from the Detroit office. All together it took 104 days from start to finish to the visa. I don't know what I would have done without all the information and support on these forums. I can remember way back in February before I started to apply how much I ignored the "november thread" or the "buffalo thread". I ignored them because I was just trying to figure out how to do all the things required to assemble an application. I thought I would feel lucky when I was on a "june thread". Little did I know, that was one of the worst parts because it is all passive. . . .just waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting. . . .

And here I feel "awful" because I was waiting a whole 104 days from start to finish.

It seems like a small price to pay to be with the man from Canada I adore.

The best of luck to all of you. I pray everything moves very quickly and happily for all of you, and that you are soon united with the husband or wife that you love. :P :D

I know how you feel, if its any consolidation my Application started "in process" on 15th July..almost a whole month before yours and had I paid All my fees together and not contacted CHC-London myself I would not have heard from them for until 26th August..almost 2 months into the processes so not hearing from them is normal! Its a frustrating process for us all...

Chin up you will hear from them soon :D :D
