Me too. We initially thought pre forum that it was only when opening the file that they would take another 45 days to process, I was really happy to learn thats not the case and for most people, its within 5 weeks of receiving the application that a reply is forwarded. I am just a bit worried because we did not double check each other on the forms and we basically really worked our selfs out on completing everything in one month after the wedding. :) (police certificate, medical etc). I am actually still compiling information on our after wedding contacts/holidays, because I just have a feeling that they might ask for it, depending on how long they take to process in Trinidad.

BTW, do you think its a good idea to forward the additional stuff when they send the file to Trinidad? We had indicated on our application under additional details of relationship that we would be taking a vacation in July. Do you think forward it or wait till they ask? I dont want any more unnecessary waiting time.

I would wait until your application is "in Process" and you get a file number from Trinidad, then send it all at the beginning of your application process

Thanks. :)
BTW there seems to hardly be any june applicants as i am comparing the threads for previous months...so we should be hearing some good news soon..less work at Mississigua!lol.

Only took 29 days for my Husbands part to be processed in Mississauga! If you wait until more documents are requested it can take 3-4 months for the IO to review your documents! :o

Well no news is good news. If something was wrong they would of contacted us by now. BTW my husband's been through this sort of process before when he applied for his citizenship, so he not supposed to make any mistakes on the documents! :)

The waiting is killing me cause I know we are supposed to hear something this week!

I am sorry to say the waiting doesnt get any easier!! I am waiting for London to request the rest of my fees and let me know if they need any more documents as we just moved 5 days after CPC-M received our application! Did you pay all of your fees already?

Yes all fees are paid up.. :)

Huff, nothing in the post again today and nothing showing against our receipt number yet. C'mon CIC! Hurryuphurryuphurryup! Anyone else heard anything more yet? Surely we're due for a few more June sponsorship approvals?

Tomorrow is the day E-CAS is updated..Keeping my fingers crossed for all the June applicants :D
By my guesstimation every one upto and including Honeybird should have heard from CPC-M by next Tuesday...

Hi, I am a new member of forum. Would a newcomer be warmly welcome here? Good day you guys!!!

Has anyone checked E-CAS Yet?

You can use the receipt number from when you paid fees and sponsors details

Ahh! I logged in today :) It says decision made so I assume a letter is in the mail. At least now I know that they know we exist.

We had an issue with our physical (a terrible DMP) so I'm going to mail in a new one once I have a client ID. Hopefully this is okay.

I had problems with my DMP too..they dont seem to be very reliable!! I had my meds done 22 feb 2010 but had to wait until 10 may 2010 to get my part of the medical to send with my application so I hope they didnt screw mine up! The meds are supposed to be sent to Ottawa within 5 days..I am wondering if they were as they were missing 1 of the forms when they scheduled my appointment!
