mine is still "application received"......I dont know if they have started working on my file

looks like both our passports reached delhi the same date. I shall be following ur case a bit more closely i guess... i seem to be in the same app recd stage! hope they work on the case soon enough...

absolutely no communication so far status on ecas is the same .... and the letter was dated 2nd march, when was urs dated??

My schedule is almost one week after yours, so they are working on it. We've been called for an interview early next month.
So you should receive something soon. Don't worry about ecas too much. Ours still says application received yet we have
been called for an interview.

i certainly hope they are working on it... i am going to wait a couple of weeks before i start freaking out that something is wrong... by the way how do they notify u of an interview by letter? and whats the time frame for the schedule of the interview?? the reason i am asking is i am represented by a lawyer in canada and all communications are routed there... i just hope by the time i receive something it isn't too late for me to prepare.... it took a little over 20 days for me to even receive my PPR letter...

Wait at least 40 days before freaking out. This is normal. If no interview is called for you it could
still take a month to get things finalized.

We are on day 54 since Delhi receive the file. Check my stats on page 381 for how long it takes.
Now, 60% of the applications are done in the period from day 50 to day 90. We noticed the
interview date on ecas. We haven't received a letter yet. By the time the interview is done
and we get the visa it will be closer to 90 days since AOR, Feb 22.

thanks.. i looked up the stats was very useful..... and it looks like the 90 day period will be sometime in mid may.. so i guess i need to chill out and just wait for it. lets hope its uncomplicated because i think we thought of most things while submitting the papers... good luck with the interview.....

hey everyone,

so my husband landed last night. It went smooth, 15 minutes because he had all his forms ready. The whole thing took 1 hour because of others landing. Already there is a problem though, they have his whole name (first and last) listed as his last name only. SO now we have to admend that. PAIN... other than that all is great!!!
