It would be kind enough if someone reply to my questions with advice as per knowledge

My case details:

Approved by CPC-M on 27th Feb 2012, sent to ND
and ecase status is "Application Received"
"We received your application for permanent residence on January 6, 2012.
Medical results have been received".

Can someone please tell me me how to know when the application is been received by ND?

Is there any contact number, to know what is the exact status of my application, whether it is in progress or not.Because ecas does not reflect current status sometime?

Should I ask for the GCM note now to understand what is going on or I should wait longer?

GUESS WHAT GUYS????? I GOT MY PASSPORT REQUEST!!!!!!!!!!! The letter is dated Feb 23, 2012 but just got it today.

Congrats!

You should get your visa after mid-April and before end of July.. if the case is straightforward...
Anyways, you can relax till mid-april now.. then the tension begins...

WAIT .... UR APPLICATION IS IN CIC HANDS NOW. THEY TRANSFER ELECTRONICALLY. DON WORRY BOUT DELHI RECEIVING IT. CHILL. WAIT N WATCH. GCM NOTES WONT HELP NOW ANYWAY.

I know i just began my actual processing...but need some useful info from senior members on these post just to know when my wife can receive her VISA approx month

Hey, it's best to order GCM notes if you are passed the 6 month mark, or if 3-4 months go by and you don't get a passport request.

You JUST sent in your application, not even a month ago- so
Wait 2 weeks to get your PPR! Relax for the next two
Weeks!
I heard ECAS is not always reliable, and not always up to date.

I had the same worry about knowing if ND got my application, but it's positive that they did receive it for sure!

Thank you Maha! I live in the USA, but haven't traveled anywhere, especially after the age of 18- so I'm not sure how straight fwd that is!

I want my Visa by May!

July is mine and my husbands 1 year wedding anniversary!

I'm getting butterflies in my stomach, knowing that when I move there, it will actually feel like we are married!!! Im I will be a wife even more so than now!

In the last 2-3 months, if you look at the DM days - you will see data ranging from:
20-30 days - 1
30-40 days - 2
40-50 days - 6
50-60 days - 2
60-70 days - 2
70-90 days - 2
90-100 days - 4
100 - 120 days - 4
120-160 days - 5

Which bucket do you fall is hard to guess.

I was expecting in each of them, so far I have crossed 4 and I am in 5th bucket (60-70 days).
Still waiting !

Out of the recent 28 DMs, there is a 50% chance that you will get it within 70 days (approx 2-3 months).

Hi CanadiansWife,

I received my PPR on Feb 29 and I still haven't seen my Ecas status changed from Application Received to In Process. Sirinivas.vadapillai is in the same boat as me.

We're hoping to see some change this weekend or coming week!! Crossing our fingers!

Got my CAIPS.

New Delhi Visa office has approved my documents which was sent last year.

Total points given : 72

Mentioned in my CAIPS that the immigratrion officer is satisfied that I will become economically established in Canada and that he is satisfied with the points and documents.


BFD is 18/05/2012 - Don't really know what does that means.

Hopefully medicals soon.

me too 50 days no Address, i asked MP he told me with positive response from ND and BC is running if its complete they hope in April 1st week for something , finger crossed Inshaallah sonn heard some Good News From Nd,
