Hi Folks,
I got this mail yesterday...what does it mean "
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Please note that your document is ready for pick-up. Kindly make an arrangement with a courier service to pick up your package.42 Independence Ave., Accra, Ghana
Phone | Tél.: +233 (030) 2211521
Fax | Téléc: +233 (030) 2211524
Congratulations to both of you. Please arrange for the pick up ASAP.We just got Pick Up Mail guys this morning.. I am so damn happy right now as it's all over. I pray we all get the Visas for our spouses very soon.
Just to recap, we applied Aug 2016 and now my wife's passport is ready for pick up.
Thank you my dearCongratulations @colmiz and everyone else getting PPR and pick up mail!!!
I’ve been AWOL for a while cos I got tired of waiting and came to visit the hubby on Monday....
I pray Accra continues to move with this new found momentum and starts calling October people soon!
Dunno if anyone has responded to this but if you sent it as registered mail, someone will sign for it and with the tracking number, you can verify who it was and know it's reached its destination...Thanks Tender I appreciate this. My worry is the lack of acknowledgment of receipt. Did you get any such response from them when you sent your package? Not knowing if it reached the right hands is concerning since the courier delivered our package after business hours.
We pray for some kind of response soon, something, anything.
redo another form with the detail and explanation as to the USA one because they cross check everything it happened to my friend so send another updates form and explain it skipped your mind a d thought you only had to declare Canada onlyHi guys. Medicals done on Tuesday, status on GCKey online account changed to "Medicals passed" yesterday. Thank God.
Please, I have a question (spurred on by Gonja's text above, actually)- especially for those who have received PPR.
On my Schedule A, when asked if I have ever been denied a visitor/temporary resident visa, I ticked
"yes" and I mentioned that I was denied a visit visa to Canada earlier this year. However, I did not mention that I had been denied a United States visit visa some years back (totally skipped my mind) - mainly because I applied again afterwards and was granted one. Any idea if this could affect my application? Should I get in touch with CIC or just wait it out?
thank youCutie 101....I will definitely ask that question for you. Anyone else with questions they want me to ask?
@Gonja, thank you so much for sharing your experience with us.Honestly, you are a very strong person to overcome such a difficult situation. Now I believe nothing is impossible.I came by to encourage you guys I'm already in Canada read my timeline
This has always been a tricky situation on this forum ans Im sure AVO is used to seeing it. All our advice are speculation and a lot of people have gotten away with not declaring previously denied visas but I'll just say they are lucky. Personally, I don't leave such things to chance because of the severity of the consequence. I would most probably fill out a new schedule A and attach an explanation stating that it was an oversight and any other explanation you may want to add. If the visa officer decided to red flag you because of it, it's much worse than drawing their attention to it even if they didn't notice it before you reported yourself. You can also send a general inquiry email to them asking what you should do before taking any steps.Hi guys. I think you didn't get asked because they didn't ask you for a medical or another police report, and they aren't expecting your husband to stay in the country very long, seeing as he has to leave soon before his medical expires. I think you're good.Question, does everyone who get ppr, get a request to send schedule A? Cuz we didn't. It's starting to bother me. They only asked for forms imm008 and the additional family form
