Happy new month everybody. In this very new month God himself will cause CIC to request for Peoples ppr. The waiting for ppr to be issured visa is another thing . I dont know whether, Accra is conducting criminal and security check again over issuing or stamping of visa on the passport. God will cause everyone in this forum to shine. Lamour and Co where are you? :P ;D :D ;)

I have be sent Free pre-departure orientation form to fill again from the International Organization for Migration (IOM)

Hello house,

I was looking to find out if anyone ordered for the GCMS notes recently and how long it usually takes to receive them. I applied for my husband's notes on the 10th of March and I know their automated response says 30 days but I was wondering if it can take longer than that.

Thanks

Hello house and firstlady.
Apologies for my absenteeism. As I mentioned few weeks back, I went to nigeria and I arrived Canada just this afternoon.

Here is the update: We lost 2 business days due to the Easter public holiday.

Just before setting out the house to head to the airport yesterday, the passport with the visa in it arrived DHL office. Glory and honor be to the name of the most high God. We are very excited.

For all those waiting, your visa is around the corner. It's getting faster. May you all hear goodnews the soonest.

Thanks, I have 5 more days to wait. Did yours have substantial information?

To be honest, I was pretty disappointed with them. Eligibility, security, and criminality all stated "not started" and medical was the only thing passed. A bit frustrating, as I can see the date generated for the notes as one day after I submitted the request, and we ended up finally hearing from the AVO for the first time about two weeks after I had submitted it. They requested a copy of my husband's WAEC, as well as copies of the bio data pages from his passports, so I assume if we had been given a more recently generated copy of notes, it could have offered more insight into our file as to where they are at with it.

The email stated that the new documents would be assessed within 10 days of submission, and final decision would be made based on what was on the file at that time. It's been almost 3 weeks now and I wake up every morning with the hope that the highly anticipated email will be in my inbox...it's become mentally draining to be let down every day. This process is not easy, as we all know...but God will see us through.

Hoping your notes offer some useful insight. All the best.
