WOW!!!

congratulations!!! Did they give any reason for the delay?

Well it doesn't matter at this point. Just very happy for you and thanking God on your behalf.
Thank you very much. They didn't give any reason but my agent mailed them to update their email recently because their old email was corrupted. So I guess they sent a message to the corrupted email address.

lol..happy for you sunneti23
you were only anxious ,in a couple of days you will have your passport with visa

Thank you. Yea, I was getting pretty anxious. It's a good thing the agent sent an email to them to update their details.

No..I'm the principal applicant...I thought it doesn't matter who sends the application?

I don't think it matters who actually sends it so long as all the documents are signed and together. i.e. the sponsor's application and the applicant's application along with the checklist. It will look odd though if your sponsor resides in Canada and the application is coming from Africa ... just saying. You don't want red flags on your file.

You have a point...Thanks

I'm not sure I remember your situation correctly - are you a Canadian citizen applying from outside Canada? If so, have you have adequately expressed intent to return to Canada in your application? I don't believe where application is posted from makes any difference so far as the address history is consistent with where you lived.

From willyblue's previous posts his other half is his sponsor and Canadian who has returned to Canada and is sponsoring him.

Thanks Mandie for ur support all along..I am the principal applicant and my sponsor is Canadian. We met in Uk and all our documents to prove our relationship is from Uk..I did my medical upfront and police certificate in Uk as well. Right now my sponsor has moved back to Canada permanently and she has a job already.

Thanks... I must say I envy everyone who has been through this process and even those waiting for ppr...the process is very complicated honestly..

It shouldn't be a problem if you post the application - just make sure both your docs are complete and you post to the right address indicated in my earlier post. And please use courier so that you can track it and be assured that it is received. Yes the process is complicated and it takes months to read the guide and understand it; this forum is godsend. Good luck
