Hello everyone, am in a situation where I don't know what to do. My husband has been a divorcee for almost 9 years before we met in which he does not have access to his children and now AVO is requesting for the child pictures, international passport and medical needs to be done.How will l have all this done without knowing the whereabouts of my X and all efforts to get in touch proved abortive. Can you please share your ideas.
This child is not traveling with me.......pls help.

Hello mamadmama if your husband does not have any access to his children and does not know their where about... What you can do is to do an affidavits explaining to AVO that your husband does not know the children where about... And he also have to explain why he doesn't have any contact with his children... Good luck

One can not predict accra nowadays. The processing time from when cic recieved ur application to when decision is made in the visa office use to be 6 to 8 months, Some got theirs 5 months. Atleast i read about an applicant who applied February 2014 and got his visa in July. But now u can hardly predict the processing time. I dont think accra has issued February applicants visa. They are still working on January applications , By now if they were to follow the speed of early 2014, April applicants suppose to be issuing visa by now. Well let watch and see what Accra visa offfice has for the waiting applicants.

I know one February Accra applicant who received PPR on September 30th.

Yes lol I think we can actually come up with topics that can cool our nerves! The wait is killing but we also should make it interesting here so as to help each other laugh sometimes

Ok, I am a bit worried my husband might not be here for my sons birthday nor Christmas. ****sad face**** I thought by ending of this month, they would have at least started working on February and March applicants! Now, I give credit for the changes most of us saw on our files. But, I feel a bit discourage when I come on here and January and February applicant are still waiting for PPR!!! However, I do know that each file is different and the processing time might vary. It still doesn't stop the nerves from anxiously trying to leave my skin lololol. I do know and believe that God is definitely in control, but we also know that we want to be with our spouses. At times, I actually roll play as if my husband was here (and im not talking about sexual thoughts) HA! I am referring to waking up and planning our day. where I will bring him, what restaurant we might eat at, preparing the families favorites. I just want to show him our malls ( Yorkdale, Eaton centre, STC, Fairview etc) OMG, our movies theatres! Fyi, Ghana is quite limited with these simple things we take for granted over here. I know, We lived there for six months! lol
Confession........ I seriously miss Fried Yam and Grilled Tilapia with coleslaw on the side!! And and fresh coconut water!!!!!! Ok, back on track. Dancing together and road trips!!!
My whole family are entertainers. I am a dancer, my twelve year old daughter is a dancer and a performer. My three year old son is a dancer and also performs. My 6'4 husband is also a dancer! And we love to worship the LORD ! Sonnie Badu is our favorite gospel singer and he gets us going! Catch my drift? ****WE ARE THE ENTERTAINMENT FAMILY**** hahahaha. " A family that dances together, stays together"!

The forum was getting dull and I decided to share this! Have a laugh and keep this going.

I think I just going to hand in my resignation and go to naija to wait with my wife and daughter. Man done desperate.

Guys, you night all want to sign this petition online. Something has to be done to improve the processing times for spousal sponsorship.
In comparison, when my wife applied to join me in London, UK, the processing time was 15 working days and they basically asked for the same things Canada requested in their application. So, my question is what make Canada's process worse than the rest?

*****FYI***** If we don't hear anything from AVO, We all know about high season ticket price. It is quite steep!!! Everything is propaganda! Its about money and how to make more money of poor immigrants! They don't realized that we simply just want to be with the ones we love! In the next two to three weeks, if we all don't get PPR request, we are doomed to pay ***HIGH SEASON TICKET PRICE*** I'm just saying! constant long distance calls, barrel sending and trips back and forth has killed both of our savings! I am not too happy about this until something changes. I am still praying and believing. But, dammnnnnnnnn, PPR better come for all us, or else? We all need a plan!!! Canadian government will loose me to the Ghanaian government! ( As scary as that may sound) C'mon, I'm desperate! I voted LIBERAL all the way and it better count!!! hahahahahahahaha
