Hi good friends.Please does any one know the telephone number to reach Accra immigration section office? I got a correspondence from the Accra immigration secion office requesting for the original police certificate I had already sent.I did mail it using DHL.the info says It's received by S.M.on the 30 july .you should be familiar with that acronym.but I got an email from the immigration section on 12 August asking for the document I had already sent.does that mean it hasn't gotten to them? Please can someone give me a number to reach immigration section? Have a good week.I pray for good news to come on us waiting.our expectations shall not be cut off.Amen.It's well.

oh these people............geez! i hate it when the ask for tings you've already sent. especially if you sent an original copy. ah! cos then you have to redo it ect........more waste of time. hmmmmm this journey needs outmost patience.

It's been a while since I've been on here. I am happy to report that my wife received her passeport demand today. We are ecstatic.

The only complication is that her medical expires mid September, so we need to act quickly.

I have a couple of questions. Do people recommend using DHL? Second, her family has not changed. Do we include a letter just saying that the family situation is the same, or are we required to re-submit IMM008?

For all those who are waiting, I hope this message provides some hope that there can be light at the end of the tunnel.

Congratulations!!!!! I am happy for you. I don’t think it matters if the medical is expiring. When they request for your passport it means they have completed with the processing of your file. DHL seem reliable to send her passport. I will advise you to fill the form again and sign and date even if nothing has changed. You can include a letter with the form if you wish; i just don’t think it’s necessary.

Big congratulations to you.
As inhisowntime suggested, DHL is reliable. As per what previous members did, just fill out the form again even though nothing has changed and attach a note.

Happy for you. I have a question for you. Did you hear anything from Accra since the file has been transfert from Missisauga to Ghana? Did you see any change on the CIC website loging section?
You were talking about ordering the GMCS note. Does that note help you figure out what si going on with your wife s file?

Hello folks! How is it going on? I have a question please...
My current passport will expire on July '16. Not quite sure I can renew it yet. I will be using it for the medicals. Do you think it would add time process if i send the app with the current passp number and if i renew it during the process? (Let's say 1or 2months before expiry, by God's grace, I guess our app would already be Accra office).
So my question is : should I renew before aplying or i can do it during the process without fearing delays?
