Yes bro I am the same person. I stated it that I applied October last year but the application was sent back cuz it wasn't complete that was January 2019. So my wife attached the missing documents and sent it back, then she got a respond febuary of it being received. And also we didn't attach any form of documents regarding my daughters surgery. I only gave them papers regarding my daughters surgery only when I applied for visiting visa last week.

I just wanted to give updates that we just got Passport Request! Hopefully our timeline will someone. We applied after July 31st so our timeline shows the biometrics and so on as well.

Sept 21, 2018 - Application received
Oct 2nd, 2018 - Request for payment of biometric fees.
Oct 16, 2018 - Confirmation that biometric fees have been received
Dec 24, 2018 - AOR 1
Jan 9, 2019 - Biometrics Instructions letter
Jan 10, 2019 -Sponsor eligibility decision
Jan 15, 2019 - My husband submitted his biometrics info at Accra Visa Office
Jan 17, 2019 - File forwarded to AVO
Feb 27, 2019 - Medicals requested
March 4, 2019 - Medical exam done
End of March 2019 - Medicals passed
May 15, 2019 - Prearrival letter
May 17, 2019 - Passport Request
May 21, 2019- Passport submitted
The one thing we did that i believe may have helped our process would be that I paid an immigration lawyer to review the full package last year in July 2018 and he made some suggestions and corrections and also guided us on how to phrase the relationship narrative and other details so as to eliminate any doubts and possibility of returns or an interview. Initially I really didnt feel like spending any money on a lawyer as I like to figure these things out on my own. In hindsight though, its the best $1500 spent since it saved us so many errors and questions.

Congrats! Do you get an email when counterfoil is issued? And how about pickup...do they notify you? How long in between? Sorry for all the questions. My husband submitted at VFS Accra on Monday so we’re hoping he can pickup on Friday or Monday at latest.
