Got my passport back yesterday. Took three and a half weeks (includes shipment time to and from Liberia).

Indeed patience is the key RoamingSpirit.

Did you send through DHL or the VFS? Seems slower than others are experiencing. Wonder if it takes longer from Liberia due to the actual shipping?

Yeah it was probably more like 2 weeks. I'd be sure if I knew the exact day it got to the AVO.

Yeah the tracking system isn't all that helpful. Do you have a date for your flight yet?

Does it show up on ECAS or your account when your background check (a.k.a security check) has started? Mine is showing that it has not begun. I applied in August 2017.

It will show up in GCKey. It's the last thing they'll do so you won't see it until the very end.

Hello everyone have any of you guys heard about Accra visa officers going to applicants adress to verify if the applicant is really telling the truth on the application.

Congratulations my dear we give all thanks to the Almighty for making everything successful you’ve been through a lot but as u said, Patience is the key.
My application is 16 months already and will be hitting 17 months in a couple of weeks and and still trusting God for speed and success on our file.

Hello all

I got ppr and submitted my pp via VFS last week. So far all i have in the tracking is that my

"processed passport have been fowarded to Accra VO".

Please what should be the next step. And how long should i wait for my pp to be returned.

I'm in the same boat - submitted Wednesday of last week. For some it's just over a week, for others it's a few weeks. Nothing other than just waiting . If you are able to get into ecas, once it says decision made, it's usually a few days later .
