I replied back to their email and asked if they required the payment as she is 6yrs old to see
If they don’t respond by a few days i will pay it
If you check the resource, I was amused to see that members of the royal family are also specifically exempted).

I paid the fees for my 6 year old kid but got the fees as refund as the minor does not need.
They emailed us back today saying we are approved for sponsorship - file going to treating VO, and another email for her medical request. Looks like my email back to say she is only 6 triggered these next emails today!
:)

I have what I hope is a simple question: When you supply additional information to IRCC via email, do you get a reply that the documents were received?

We were asked for some additional documents, which we gathered and submitted about two weeks after the request. We were sure to follow the filename format that they provided (like the file number, last name, first name, etc.).

I'm probably just being overly anxious, but we never got a receipt indicating that they received the documents, nor did we receive an error that they couldn't be delivered.

Do you suppose they were submitted successfully?

They most probably were. How long ago? Other posters here have also not received confirmation for quite some time (a month? Or two? Don't recall)

We submitted them only about a week ago. They gave us two months to respond, and I wouldn't have expected them to be looked at yet, but I guess I would hate to think that they didn't get sent properly and we only find out in a month that they think we never responded.

YOu can read other experiences here from others, but a week in IRCC terms is nothing.

Usually they do
But i have experienced when they didnt. You can resend the email in a week time and say you are following up on its reception...

You can call up to confirm. If it's updated in the file, probably the call centre can confirm.
