Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

Hi,

Today I recived MR for My new born baby, but still her Passport not issued yet,
can I do the test for her and do they will accept this MR without passport,

or I have to wait till I get the Passport,

pleas Advice if any one has same case,

Hi Assad, i would suggest you three solutions for this.Firstly, as IOM is in Pakistan and they must be fully aware of the passport scandal and the severe delays occurring in the passport issuance in the recent past, call them on 051-111-466-472 (They only receives calls in their Islamabad office and their call centre is located over-there so don't call their other offices in Karachi, Lahore or Mirpur, Kashmir) and ask for their advise. The second thing is to send an email to the Canadian High Commission explaining them the situation in detail and again ask for their advise. Finally, the third option but that is a bit riskier i.e. wait for the passport to be issued.

How long will mail reach Dubai coming from London?
Any idea?

There are few things which you can do to get a rough idea off the time of mail reaching Dubai:

1- Ask the post office
2- Ask any UK citizen who lives in Dubai and you knows him
3- Roughly, if the mail from Pakistan or India takes 20-25 days then the mail from UK will obviously take lesser time.

Finally, if you dont receive any letter after waiting for around a month, better inform the high commission and request them to forward the same letter to you through email and they will do so.

I would like to Thank SMSH for the advice to resend again another CSI.
London replied in 3 days after I submitted my CSI.This is the 3rd CSI.
First reply is the I am on queu, 2nd is that I will receive update shortly.

ATTENTION APPLICANTS FROM PAKISTAN

All of those Pakistani friends who have not seen any updates or progress on their cases or they have received the 18 months letter, this is a very sincere, friendly and useful to advise to all of them. If you are not living in any other country nor planning to travel in the near future and the validity of your passports are now less then 1.5 years (means your passports are going to expire in December 2014 or earlier), i would strongly suggest them to apply for a new passport. As you all know, NADRA faces a new crises every single day and in the past few months, whatever you have seen that how people painfully waited for 4-5 months to get their passports renewed is a good lesson for all of us and this should happen again as well. If, God forbid, any such thing happens again and they asks for your passports at the same time then you can imagine what will happen ???. I am also suggesting this thing because one has to travel within the validity of his medical i.e. one year and if the passport will also be valid for a shorter time, they will either not stamp the visas (because they need passports to be valid for at least 6 months or 1 year (i am not sure either its 6 months or 1 year but if they have started the processing in full swing say after 7-8 months, at that time, how you will manage to get a new passport? and time left in your hand to travel to Canada will also be shortened because of the short validity of your passport) so better get it renewed now and sit with piece of mind instead of facing this menace on the last and decisive months of your case.

The term CSI is always used in the forum. Just inform me

Thanks for the advice Ksez.I have also filled the form and yes its pretty straight forward. But just need to ask where they say the email address of the principal applicant or representative ? What should i write mine or my consultant email address as so far we have been communicating CIC through consultant.That is the reason i am confused that should i send it or our consultant should send it on our behalf?
