Other than LVO, many of VO are issuing Medicals which includes Singapore, Manila, Buffalo (closed now),etc.

Not sure if my observation is right but yesterday while browsing through the forum I noticed that a lot of applicants of MI1 from Singapore visa office (with similar timelines) are getting PPR / medicals, why is LVO is so slow. Does anyone know when CIC releases the quarterly data for processing. I seriously hoped that the processing time for LVO would increase due to temporary ban on new applications till the end of 2012 and the unfortunate removal of pre 2008 backlog, but reality is that not much has changed so far...........

The inventory for Post Feb 2008 is reduced by approx 58k in six months.

Good Info. So, Post Feb 2008, only 108, 000 applications are pending. I believe all of these will be accomodated in 2013 quota.

Not all. As they still have six months in 2012, so I assume they will try accommodate 40k in 2012 and remaining in 2013.

Agreed. If we see the list, Till June 2012; 79, 000 visa's have been issued to econonic immigrants. Quota is roughly around 150,000 (based on past Stats). So, i perceive that around 70, 000 more economic immigrants will be issued visa in 2012, hence leaving the "Pending Working Inventory" only around 40, 000. Easily adjustable in 2013.

108,352 (Volume in persons). On average each application has 03 persons (Applicant, spouse & 01 child). It means roughly 36k+ APPLICATIONS awaiting a decision.

Good, its bit relaxing ……….

I send a CSI to LVO they replied to me after 5 days only to find out the response is the cut & paste wait letter of 6-12 months.....hahahahaha

Backlog (Federal Skilled Worker applications received before the priority processing date of February 27, 2008) is 290,972 & 108,352 is working inventory (Federal Skilled Worker applications received on or after the priority processing date of February 27, 2008). We fall in WRKING INVENTORY.

Pls. correct me if I am wrong.

Rightly Picked. We fall in "Working Inventory".

U re right. (This is what it seems like, unless we are reading it wrong)

Working Inventory means: MI 1+2+3. So we all are working inventory!!!

Backlog means: Pre-Feb 2008 applications.

ONE IMPORTANT THING that I noticed was: "volumes (in persons)"

.......Does that mean that these 108,352 are "total number of people" awaiting decison , "not number of applications" awaiting decision...

If yes, then Dividing it by 3 (average number of people in every application) we get 36,000 cases/families awaiting decision...:) just thinking out loud , since 36,000 applications/cases sounds like a smaller number :) lol...
