I sent full documents on 16.11.2009, its 33 months gone but still waiting. I think it would take another 18 months to complete the process because as per next BFD case processing would resume on 30.4.2013 and take reasonable time to complete. So average processing does not matter.
I think you are the only forum member who has submitted full documents in 2009 and still got the 6-12 month letter people with your timeline are getting their passports stamped with visas, does your CAIPS shows any reason that why your case is so late in finalizing? It's unbelievable with LVO that they are so slow

CAIPS does not indicate any specific reason for delay. I just received fresh CAIPS but no progress as yet and next BFD is 30.4.2013. Its totaly disappointing for me because 33 months gone and still no chance to finilize. I am going to write a letter to Immigration Program Manger about this discrimination.

Dear Sibbi,

we have already discussed the same issue as we all know the time frame on cic website is not accurate and it constantly changes almost in every quarter, myself already noticed it changed from 13 months to 23 to 27 and now 29 months, who knows when we will start receiving MR but in one of his Q&A thread qorax mentioned that the usual time is 3 years for MI-1 applicant to complete the whole process, but, i personally belief it will take 8-10 months(minimum) if not maximum(12-14m) to get MR (from the date of wait letter) + 4/6 months to get visa sealed. i hope more predictions to follow soon. ;)

Their working styles are really strange, as soon as you start developing on anything, a case comes across which is totally different however treated the same way as we did.... ahhhhhh... difficult to assume anything yar :(

did you send anything with a delay? I mean after submission of your full doc, did you send any docs later too?

Dear Waiters,

As i have been following Singapore visa office related forums, in those forums, applicants are mentioning that after "in process with date" they have send case specific inquiry to Singapore and most of them got reply as "you are on medical queue, and will receive further instruction on due course "

my question is to ALL my friends, is it same for all of us, i mean, are we all in medical queue after in process with date? or is it depends as per visa office.

I think we all hold letters recepient are in medical qeue, and Insha Allah soon we all receive our medical request, as we have seen from the capis notes that our medical has been printed and placed on file. It is just a matter of time, as we all know that once we complete our medical they have to issue our visa as medical has a time line of one year, otherwise they have to issue us a re-medical request.

Yes I too had a similar thought when I read this particular post from an applicant of SVO.
Is there people ( LVO applicants) in our time frame and not have not got the wait letter?
If NO, we may be in the queue for medicals n we got this letter as a part of it.

their are plenty of people of on our time frame from LVO who haven't got wait letter instead they got updated docs request and later they received MR or will receive it as per a thread i posted earlier here.

i was wondering if SVO can simply replied to a inprocess with date applicant that s/he is in medical queue then are we also in medical queue? as we are also in process with date OR is it only for SVO. it will be more anxiety for us if LVO still dont put us on medical queue and do further SO CALLED bull!!!! background check. as per SVO, YES, we are on medical queue.

NOW, who is the expert to tell us, is their any difference between visa offices to follow the fundamental work instructions such us what to do after in process with date.

That's great news! Thanks for the link... Hope the bring forward date is the maximum limit they've set to be reminded of our files if nothing happens till then.
I guess that explains the timeframe they gave 6-12 months wait, instead of a straight 12 months!!
Hurray!! Good news is on the way !

Any update buddies???? How many people have been given this hold letters??? Any idea???

nope dude, no update, not suppose to get any update because none of the 6-12 months letter holders have completed 6 months, the earliest guy to cross 6 months will be on September next month; and looking at the progress and working style of LVO, i dont see any sudden glorious light of hope right after 6 months. :P :P :P

we might have to wait up to our next BFD, the date we might get our MR. and as per caips that is 1 year exactly from in process date :o :o :o
