Default Re: AOR from London August/September 2010 - Progress updates
Just a non-update really.
My immigration representative just contacted me with the following response regarding my case after recieving my caips notes and questioning.

Quote:
We will send out instructions for medicals in the next few weeks
Now the last time contact was made they responded with:
Quote:
We will send out further instructions next few weeks
That turned out to be the 6-12 month letter.

Fingers crossed then! by few weeks im guessing 6-10 i.e. 6months from the date of the last letter.

HI All

I have just discovered this forum and it's really helpful. I received my 6-12 month letter from LVO on 25th April 12. I have one question. Will the new Immigration point system effect our files?and at which point a files is considered to be safe from MI changes. In case of pre-2008 backlog applications, cases which have received a selection decision based upon selection criteria are eligible for further action. What about our cases? Have the 6-12 months letter cases reached selection decision?

Any opinion will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome bro to the forum, yes they have reviewed our applications and found them eligible for further processing as well :) ... One cannot commit any stage as fully safe till u land so keep on praying for succes at all stages.. Pre 2008 cases are different as their files were not even touched for review & no decision was made for those cases .... New MI will inshallah not effect us and we will hear from LVO soon :) inshallah .. Keep praying bro :)

.

That's great news! Thanks for the link... Hope the bring forward date is the maximum limit they've set to be reminded of our files if nothing happens till then.
I guess that explains the timeframe they gave 6-12 months wait, instead of a straight 12 months!!
Hurray!! Good news is on the way !

we are daydreaming here......no way MR in next few weeks, i am being realistic and it would take at least 8 to 10 months to get MR from letter date, i hope sooner but thats what LVO's recent trend suggest, those haven't got wait letter getting updated docs request and some already got MR followed by updated docs request, we have been pushed back to wait more, that's the reality.

A GREAT SIGH OF RELIEF :) :) :)

Twitter Kenney Jason response

Skilled Worker applications already in the system will be processed based on existing criteria. New criteria apply to new apps.

thanks for the sharing, by the way, isnt that too obvious that the new rules will be applicable to the new applications, logically it should not for surely affect us or in process with date applicant :)

Cheer up!!
8- 10 months is better than 12 months!
Another 8- 16 weeks!!! We cannot say nything unless and until 1 person gets MR from the wait letter holders!!

I sent full documents on 16.11.2009, its 33 months gone but still waiting. I think it would take another 18 months to complete the process because as per next BFD case processing would resume on 30.4.2013 and take reasonable time to complete. So average processing does not matter.
