I don't have the link right now but it is announced too many times that visa quota for fswp is 55,000 and this year for mi5 is 5000 and the rest is for other mi's, google Kennedy's statement when he was launching the new mi for 2013

Khan Jee you are right It is 55k approx which means 91k -55k = 36k will be shifted to 2014 ...so MR & PPR Rain will start soon....

I am not saying that all of us will get MR ...but overall...once some visa offices will have less workload there is a probability that our cases may be forwarded to them like PVO....one thing I am sure now that they will not create another backlog ...as they are also answerable to their management and getting salaries not to relax in the office.....so hopefully lot of good news will come from August 2013 insha Allah.......keep in touch and be motivated.....life is very short....umeed per to puri duniya qaim hai....yeh to siraf aik PR hai.....

Notice – Adoptions from Pakistan

The provinces and territories will no longer accept applications for adoption placements from Pakistan, effective July 2, 2013.

The Government of Canada, in support of this decision, will no longer process related immigration applications as of the same date.

Pakistani law allows for guardianship of children, but does not recognize our concept of adoption. Proceeding with further such placements would violate Canada’s obligations under The Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption.

Prospective parents whose cases were in progress should be contacted by the Mission in Islamabad regarding the status of their application.

Other related inquiries should be directed to the responsible adoption agency and/or provincial/territorial Central Adoption Authority.

69726+7329=77055 person left as of march 2013
If we assume another 13000 for the second quarter then
77055-13000=64055 what is left as of June 2013.
These numbers can be finalized in one year yes every one quarter III started expect good news soon.

You can also ignore the cases prior to Feb 2008 as they will be processed with slow speed...
Assume if they keep the same pace then total Quota is 55k and they will issue PR to 50k
which is perfectly alright and inline with our dreams...

Q1=82,278-12,552=69,726
Q2=69,726-12,552=57,174
Q3=57,174-12,552=44,622
Q4=44,622-12,552=32,070

So with this latest update only 32k will get PR in 2014...
insha Allah soon good news will follow from August...
The people who will get MR from August will get the PR from Q1 of year 2014 insha Allah...

can you pls share your timeline. ie. your application category , under which visa office, when you receive 6-12 months wait letter and when you receive 18 months wait letter. etc

this will help us to analysis the current process time.
