Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) (PDF, 536 KB)

Previously this form was referred to as "Application for permanent residence in Canada" and the same was written in email so i suppose we have to send this one only.

IMM0008 E SCHEDULE 1 (Background Declaration) – for Principal App + Spouse has now a new form no as provided below and same need to be submitted
Schedule A: Background / Declaration (IMM 5669) (PDF, 286 KB)

Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) (PDF, 472 KB) is only required if you more than 5 dependents.

Schedule 3: Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] : not sure as it's not written in the email sent by VO.

I hope others who have already submitted the docs can tell if they have sent this form or not

Kindly clear me one specifcally, that they asked for IMM0008 form for the principal applicant, so do they want
only i. IMM0008 E GENERIC (Application for Permanent Residence) or two other IMM0008 forms as well give below and on their website
ii. IMM0008 E SCHEDULE 1 (Background Declaration) – for Principal App + Spouse
iii. IMM0008 E SCHEDULE 3 (Economic Classes – FSW) – for Principal App

Basically there are three IMM0008 forms on their website, kindly clear confusion.

With the 18 month love letter, We just need to send them:
1. All updated forms (4 forms)
2. Passport copies (first 4 pages)
3. Email print out

That 's it ...right ?

We DO NOT need to send them our photographs/pictures OR this miltary form, right ?

why first 4 pages?? only title page/2nd page & visa page (if available) is required

I did not send schedule 3...since it was not asked....
just sent schedule A (background decleration) imm 5669...

First 4 pages mean:
first page: right+left.....pages 1+2 ....this page has pics n bio data
Then u turn page over.....right+left...pages 3+4.... and this page has signature....

Also, not necessary, but for extra safety/no harm: do send 2 forms for military service...one for u+one for spouse...with "N/A" in all boxes, and 'reason' being that 'military service is not mandatory in the country." Although this is optional. Yet I feel its better to send.

Yes.

UCI: unique client identification...is client I'd. only people with caips know their UCI...others don't....

U can write this if u want...OR leave it empty...both r ok.....I left it empty.

InshAllah as my latest CAIPS shows BFD as 12/03/13 instead of previous 26/04/2013. You predicted months ago march/april 2013 and hope will be the case.

My BFD was on 12.2.2013 and but no update despite completion of background check. My next bfd is also 12.4.2013 but dont know its changed or not. This is good news that your bfd is now fixed 12.3.2013 instead of 12.4.2013, so INSHALLAH will hear good news on 12.3.2013.

As per my analysis of excel sheet of SMSH, 95% of applicants who sent their initial application in or before march 2010 have got MR with exception of Zeeshanis. 85% of applicants who applied after march got 18 months letter with exception of few lucky one's. There are still few applicants who applied in Feb/March 2010 still waiting for their fate to be decided including my brother who sent his application in March 2010. I have strong feelings that he'll MR too as his CAIPS shows to issue MR and request PCC with MR. Fingers crossed for everyone and I do hope that 18 months window turns out to be to calm everyone down so that CIC can finalise cases as quickly as possible and still give pleasant surprises to those waiting...

General Trends of forum.......
Before medical...........daily 4 - 10 posts (kia banay ga ........kia ho raha ha LVO ma.....kab medical aay ga.........what the hell LVo is doing....meri time line k log medical kar k ppr ka waite kar rhaay hain etc etc)

When medical arrive.......upto medical day daily 4 - 6 posta (thank God medical aa gaya.....i m nervous.......kia kia hota ha medical ma....please seniors guide.........Yahooooooo medical ho gya ....... its simple......IOM ppl were very nice.......medical kidhar jae ga LVO ya IND.....)

After 1 month of medical.....with interval of 2 / 3 days posts (why no line appeared "Medical has been received"......even IOM told that if u dont receive call till next day asume that ur medicals are cleared......but .....still dont know what happened to medicals......why ppr so late......LVO is sleeping......

After 3 -4 month of medical 5 - 10 posts daily.......(why LVO is taking time for BG checks......what the hell they are doing with BG checks.....send CSI but generic reply........what to do......m getting frustated.....)

When PPR-1 Received......2 - 3 posts for 2 days (please guide what are these 3 things they have asked in letter as there are only 2 things.....any experienced applicants .......sending PPR-1 today.....pray for me......) {exception is there some ppl keep quite and let other ppl to be frustated like HINOBUS service)

when PPR-2 received some ppl rushed for sending Passport and forget forum..........

when VISA received some ppl asking for good flight and things to carry however some ppl keep quite like there is nothing with them (like HINOBUS service and tag "May u al suceed")

At the end after landing some ppl post their landing experience while other keep their quite policy (like HINOBUS service)

But unfortunately he didn't even give me a single call to say goodbye before fly. When I called him on his local number, the call was attended by his brother, and I found that he has been fly since 1 week before. On my insist his brother gave me his Canadian number.

When I called him he said I'm buzy and will call you later. And since that day, No call!
