I don't think they will process in order of wait letters because if you see the table of Arsh Ali they have issued the wait letters in bulk with people of varying timelines. Their pattern is unpredictable and cannot be ascertained at this stage.

Any news for wait letter holders, on the hot-lier link applicants have received medical today.

What do u mean?????

Hi,

I received a letter dated 20th March 2012 from CIC London office informing that my application is eligible, but I have to wait 6 to 12 months further, to receive any information on proceeding further. My file number was issued on 29th June 2010. Till date, my application status information has not been displayed in the CIC website in spite of providing all the info requested by the website. Am I the only one with such an experience? 6 months have gone since CIC issued 6 to 12 months wait letter. Hope to hear something positive soon from them. Anyone with a similar experience and timeline, please share. Thanks.

just to keep this up!!!!

Some information from a fellow member...

While I was following a CIC official from NDVO on LinkedIn, applicants asked him certain queries on ECU and he replied back positively. I myself have come across this queries for quite some time, but didn't get any concrete answers. Here is the link
http://www.linkedin.com/groups/SELDEC-4-2932885.S.138075000
Hope this will help many applicants....

The 1st Query:
Lets share thoughts about "SELDEC 4".
Normally when SELDEC 4 are entered?
Why SELDEC 4 is entered rather then SELDEC 1?
How secure SELDEC 4 is as compared to SELDEC 1?
Answer:
A 4 never changes to 1. The 1 is entered after an interview, the 4 means interview waived. Overwhelmingly, the 4 entered by the analyst tends to stand and the interview is waived. It is simply an administrative way to code things.

The 2nd Query:
I am MI-1 applicant from NDVO and waiting for medical, recently my processing is started. Many applicants are claiming as per GCMS notes that their file are located at ECU. Could you please enlighten us what is this ECU dept, someone told us that its a backlog elimination dept, can you please throw some light how it works.
Thanks !
Answer:
The ECU is nothing secret or sinister. The letters stand for Economic Class
Unit, as opposed to for instance the Family Class Unit, etc.

The 3rd Query:
May I ask if you have an idea regarding this 6-12 months letter send by London VO. appreciate your response.
Answer:
As I have never worked in London, I can't comment on it.

Dear Waiters,

Don't panic or become hopeless, its certain that we are on the right path and will get MR on due time frame mentioned in eligible review(6-12months) letter, it means we have nothing to do rather waiting for minimum 6 months, if nothing happens after 6 months, it will mean around 10/11 months it will take to get MR from our wait letter dates. nothing to worry and no confusion should arise regarding the our current situation and that is WE ARE ON MR QUEUE. END OF STORY. NOW RELAX. NO MORE BULL>>>>>
