Did you also get a ghost "update" email directly from CIC a few days after submitting the requested documents ?

I got the ghost mail in the morning and PPR afternoon like 2:30

So many times I thought something would happen when nothing did, so I'll get excited when and if I'll receive it At least, there's progress which is a drastic nice change compared to a few days ago where nothing was happening at all

I haven't received a single ghost email for my EE permanent Residency file, but have received them in the past for my work permit/visa files and received just yesterday for a TRV application. But, no updates or ghost emails on our PR application yet

With no ghost emails and just two lines on ecas - 'we received your application (wrong dates) and we received your medicals', does this mean that our file is yet to even start being processed and that nobody has potntially even looked at our file?

Last email I got was when myCIC got updated .. And there was an update when I logged in.

Got a ghost email Wednesday night(They work really hard? with no update on CIC, but ECAS changed to "In Process".
Hopefully there would be good news.

Something weird happened in myCic.

It usually says "submitted - read" .. But I was just checking and it said "your action is required - read".

I went in, but nothing was changed/need my action.

This means that they have sent you a document request. Check your MyCIC messages.

That's what I thought too. But there was nothing. "0 new messages". Also didn't receive any emails or anything.

Now it changed back to "submitted - read". It might have been a glitch, I don't know.

Nope. Nothing, but interestingly enough by bg check changed to in progress!!

March 27th: ITA (FSW - INLAND)
April 10th: AOR
April 15th: Medical Passed
April 16th: ECAS - Application Received (3 Lines - Wrong dates)
August 7th: ECAS - In Process
August 8th: Background Check - In Progress (Was always at Not Started)

Very similar to esantos. That member had to wait more than a month with this status before getting their PPR. Hope yours happens earlier!

Since there is "Decision Made", I will call CIC Monday first thing so they give me the "decision".
Man, right before the weekend. 2 more days to wait...
