Fellas, today my application status was changed from "Application Received" to "In Progress" and I was asked to provide two additional documents through myCIC account: 1) resume 2) Supplementary Information Request for Students form (the name of my supervisor/school/my employment plans for going back to home country).

I have finished my graduate studies in Canada and currently working full-time on PGWP.

My timeline is as follows (also included in the spreadsheet):
- CRS: 490 (CEC, applied inside Canada)
- ITA: April 17
- AOR: April 28
- Medical: passed
- BG check: In progress
- ECAS: In progress (3 lines), July 28
- Additional document request: July 28

Why the heck do they need my employment plans for going back to home country? :o

Hello I have been asked to provide the same information! What should I answer? I don`t have any idea about the company and the supervisor and neither the work!!
7- Upon return to (Home country), what employment plans do you have in place? At which company or organisation and in what field of work?

Name of company :
Duties:
Name of supervisor(s) :

MY Ecas changed to In Process today

hi Folks,

Bad news for me today. Cic refused my PR paper because of no duties and responsibilities submitted for previous work experiences. Cant believe it. I had submitted duties and responsibilities of current job with permanent job offer and continuous job offer, for the present job which is a supervisor category, also have a journey man credential from alberta for my position as well. But still they have refused it. Any guys experience like my situation. Any suggesstions are welcome.

Hope to send a case specific enquiry, but dont know how long it will take for them to respond, as my work permit is expiring in 10 days.

ITA received --------- Feb 20
App Submitted Apr 18
Aor Received Apr 19
Addl docs requested Apr 29
Addl docs submitted Apr 30
Medicals passed May first week
FBI PCC submitted June 13
ScheduleA req for spouse and RCMP request for myself -- June 16
Sch A submitted for spouse June 23
RCMP Submitted June 25
Alberta Journeyman submitted ------- july
Application refused ---------- July 30th
I am inland applicant applied under CEC category.

Guys please be aware of your reference certificates and experience certificates include job responsibilities and duties.
So sorry to hear that. I do not think I saw someone being rejected for reference letter. If you do not mind to answer the below questions, it may help understanding the situation better.

1. Are you working for more than one year on your current job?
2. Did you claim points for your previous job?
3. What documents did you submit for your previous job. Like pay stub? company letter without job duties? any letter from colleague? Letter of explanation

Thanks
PK

Perfect! Thanks again for the reply and how long did it take for you to receive your passport and COPR?

I haven't received my passport back yet.
It was received in Ottawa on July 27th.
I am following the tracking number of the prepaid envelope to return the passport and until now, it hasn't been activated yet.

Let's see by the end of the day, as a phone agent from Canada Post told me that CPC Ottawa sends the packages in batches, once a day.

According my research this process might take upto a month at least

Thanks for the reply. and for those who didn't receive any BIODATA form together with your PPR, he said to follow whatever is in the instruction as each applicant is different.
