Hi KaydenB

Please update the spreadsheet (I know it is a lot of work). I believe there were other PPRs from April batch yesterday (close to 4 I remember).

Congrats to all who received the PPR :)

No I think one prepaid envelop is to be enclosed with return address, while the one with their address is the one in which you will send the requirements. Because it says in the letter Enclose your passport(s) or passport photocopy(ies), photos, copy of this letter and folded selfaddressed envelope in the envelope with our mailing address

Regarding the envelop size, I would also like to know the answer to that question

My PPR letter says the following for the envelope size:

If you have a mailing address in Canada: To allow you to track your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5688) and, if a visa is required, your passport through the mail, you must purchase two (2) PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes (National), letter-sized (318 x 241 mm), at any Canada Post retail outlet.

Thanks a lot for sharing those details, the recommended envelop size was not mentioned in my PPR.

Just one more question, do we have to write the addresses on the envelops by hand or is a sticker generated by Canada post?

my PPR letter doesn't say that :(

I sent a letter sized one with a standard inside, hope it works haha

You will have to write the address on the label.

From where do you get the information (other than GCMS notes) regarding which VISA office is processing your case.

Today, I called CIC call centre regarding my file. He failed to provide me any details regarding my file. He asked me to only call if the six months processing period is over.

Just to add on this, I applied for BOWP even before receiving ITA :-X
At the time I applied, it was showing 110 days of processing time to get the BOWP, so I took the chances and submitted my application, hoping that at the time they processed my BOWP I would have received ITA, submitted my documents and had them reviewed and deemed as completed ??? (I know, I was too bold to make this assumption, also supported by a lawyer)

I sent the application myself, included all proofs of employment, job offer, etc..., included explanation letter and, on May 19 my BOWP was approved.
I never received the 2nd AOR. So like our friends already said, if your work permit is about to expire, don't hesitate and send your BOWP application (send the paper application) because, by the time they process it, your PR will be in much better shape (if not approved already) ::)

Hello esantos,
Regarding the BOWP, I want your advice.
My medical changed to pass today (July 29th), and my PGWP is expiring at the end of October 2015 (three months left).
But I have not received the 2nd AOR yet. I am planing to apply the BOWP with the 1st AOR. My question is: Should I apply online or apply on paper?

Anyone who shares your experience will be highly appreciated.

:) :)

WOOOW finally , after Loooooooooooooooooooooooong wait and checking my email and other e-things ....
still no passport request :D....
just a comment to keep our page on the top !
Peace out Aprilers
